Golf camp scheduled to be held June 26-29
KidsNGolf, The Boys & Girls Club of El Dorado and SouthArk Junior Golf will hold their 2017 El Dorado Junior Golf Camp for Union County boys and girls at the Lions Club Golf Course, Monday through Thursday mornings, June 26-29.
Graded golf instruction will be available for boys and girls ages 8 to 13. Lunch will be provided each day following golf and life skills classes.
The cost for the four-day golf camp is $50.
To ensure adequate student-to-coach ratios, the golf camp can accommodate only the first 35 young people who sign up.
Mornings will be broken into 45-minute instruction periods with coaches assigned to groups of golfers based on age and experience levels.
Each day there will also be very important time set aside to discuss the life skills and values that are inherent in the game of golf and apply to life.
On Thursday morning, a golf skills competition will be held for all participants with prizes awarded to division winners.
Awards will also be given to deserving young players recognizing their efforts, conduct and improvement throughout the week.
