BOBBIE J. GULLEY Bobbie J. Gulley, 79, of El Dorado, died Sunday, June 18, 2017 at the Medical Center of South Arkansas.

Arrangemen­ts will be announced by Bailey Funeral Home.

JUDITH A. OSBORN Judith Ann Osborn, 63, of Troup, Texas, passed away June 10, 2017.

Cremation arrangemen­ts are being made through Perry’s Funeral Chapels.

JOHN TOLIN III John “Butch” Tolin III, 70, of Louann, passed away on Monday, June 19, 2017.

Services will be under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

The family will receive friends at the church from 10 a.m. until service time today.

FRANCES J. RHODES Visitation for Frances Jeanette Fuller Rhodes of Junction City, is scheduled for 1 p.m. today at Young’s Funeral Directors, with services to follow at 2 p.m. in the Young’s Chapel. Interment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery in Junction City under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors. Longtime family friend, Pastor Edith Hill of the Presbyteri­an Church of Ruston, Louisiana, will officiate the celebratio­n of Jeanette’s life.

VAUGHN RICHMOND Services for Vaughn “Lee “Richmond, 54, of El Dorado, will be at 11 a.m. today at St. James Baptist Church in El Dorado with Pastor George Calloway, eulogist. Interment will be in Mount Olive Cemetery in Summerfiel­d, Louisiana, under the direction of Sims Mortuary.

EMOGENE O. JETER Mrs. Emogene “Jean” Oliver Jeter, left her earthly home and body and joined her Heavenly Father on Sunday, June 18, 2017 at Hudson Memorial Nursing Home.

She graduated from Harrell High School as class Valedictor­ian in 1948. She didn’t know what she would do, but God opened a door for her to move to El Dorado, AR and attended Nursing School. She graduated from Warner Brown School of Nursing in 1951 as a Registered Nurse. Mrs. Jeter worked and trained under the Sisters of Mercy at Warner Brown Hospital. In her career she served as a head nurse on the 5th floor, caring for surgery patients and with Oncology patients administer­ing chemothera­py. During these years, she served with great love and compassion, was a witness to many, and trained young nursing students. She loved being a nurse and was respected as one of the best in her field. She retired from nursing in 1992 after 40 years of dedicated service. In her retirement she continued to be “nurse” to all of her family and community, and was always a resource to anyone in need of medical attention or advice. She was a faithful member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church for over 60 years. Her greatest love was for Jesus Christ but she loved her family and treasured the time she spent with them, especially her great grandchild­ren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, La Vance Jeter; brother, John Doyle Oliver; sister, Inez Rayborn and granddaugh­ter, Shannon Ranee Jeter.

Her memory will be cherished by her children, Susan Harper and husband Levi, Tony Jeter and wife Sandra, Becky Singleton and husband Dale and Jean Marie White and husband Dennis, all of El Dorado, AR; grandchild­ren, Jamie Harper and wife Jackie, Jerry Harper and wife Christi, Jeff Harper, Heidi Singleton Plyler and Allie White; great grandchild­ren, Case Harper, Kinsey Harper, Nathan Plyler and Natalie Plyler.

Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 20, 2017, at the Bailey Funeral Home, El Dorado.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy Robertson, Rev. Tim Post and Rev. Robert Lee, officiatin­g. Interment will be in the Olive Branch Cemetery, near Junction City, under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, El Dorado.

Pallbearer­s will be, Nelson Post, Stanley Post, Seth Post, Sammy Vaughn, Jean Sewell, Charles Markel, and Jimmy Price.

Thank you to the staff of Hudson Memorial and Lifetouch Hospice. Special thanks to the dedication of these ladies for their care this the last year, Denita Ford, Bernadine Dismuke, Michelle Dawson, Terri Powell and Demetris Tatum.

The family will be at Jean Marie White’s residence, 2133 Pleasant Grove Road.

ANGELIQUE NAPOLEON Angelique Napoleon, 64, passed away at Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles. While we are mourning the death of our dear Angelique Napoleon, we are grateful for the many years and memories

God has blessed us to share with her.

The wake and visitation for Angelique Napoleon is scheduled for Thursday, June 22, 2017, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Boyd Funeral Home, 1109 S. Vermount Ave., Los Angeles, California.

Funeral will be held at Second Baptist Church, 2412 Griffith Ave., Los Angeles, California at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, June 23, 2017.

DAVID PEARSON David Pearson, 63, of El Dorado, passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Zion National Park in Springdale, Utah.

He was born Jan. 20, 1954 in El Dorado, to James Allen Pearson and Thelma Juanita Templeton Cloud. David retired from Entergy after 22 years of service as a lineman. He began his career as a member of IBEW

436, later served as business agent for IBEW 1703 and returned to IBEW 436 after his retirement from Entergy. David loved hunting, fishing, hiking, boating and most of all spending time with his grandchild­ren. He attended Wyatt Baptist Church. He had a deep love for Christ and his life-long goal was to help others.

Preceding him in death were his father; and his step-father, Sonny Cloud.

Survivors include his wife, Susan Brewster Pearson of El Dorado; his mother, Juanita Cloud of El Dorado; his sons, Eric Pearson (Shannon) of Smackover and Allen Pearson of Texarkana; a step-daughter, Jessica Dumas (Jeramie) of El Dorado; the mother of his sons, Cindy Mayhan Greer of El Dorado; a brother, Jimmy Pearson of El Dorado; a sister, Jacquita Diehl (Phillip); and grandchild­ren, Katherine Pearson, Zackley Pearson, Nathan Pearson, Whit Pearson, Justin Dumas, Jamison Dumas and Jaelynn Dumas.

Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 22, 2017 in Young’s Chapel with the Rev. Steve Pelz officiatin­g. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

Visitation will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Arkansas Children’s Hospital, 1 Children’s Way, Little Rock, AR 72202.
