Men's Health Fair
To The Editor:
On behalf of the NAACP president, Janice Bush and all branch members, we would like to thank the participants and presenters of the Men’s Health Fair. Our theme this year is YOUR HEALTH MATTERS…. every system is important.
The June 24th event was held at the Fairview Community Center, 1018 Wilson under the supervision of the St. John Missionary Baptist Church staff.
We thank the American Legion Post 10, Life Touch Hospice, Heart Associates of South Arkansas, South Arkansas Community College and Dr. Susan Wache, Kinslow Eye and Laser Center, Gold Cross Urgent Care, TOUCH Coalition, Pride Youth Organization, South Arkansas Fights Aids (SAFA), Barbara Breggs Agency, Nelson’s Clothing, American Red Cross, Shire Pharmaceuticals of Social Circle GA, Health Works and Ms. Ann Robinson – Henry, Complete Homecare, Elder House Adult Daycare, Inter Faith Health Clinic, AVON, Medical Center of South Arkansas, SIMS Mortuary, Sims-Shaw Burial Association, Grace Point Healthcare, National Institute on Aging, CITI Trend, Melvin's Pharmacy, Medic Pharmacy, Dr. Greg Smart, Mae Fuller, Total Medical Supply, Arkansas Dental Health, Arkansas Tobacco Prevention and Cessation Program, all volunteers of St. John Missionary Baptist Church, dedicated volunteers, New Creations Life Center, and all nurses that volunteered.
