CAROLYN BRYANT Carolyn Bryant, 76 of El Dorado, passed away Friday, July 7, 2017 in Hot Springs.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 12, 2017 in Young’s chapel with interment to follow in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time at Young’s.
VERILEE GILL Verilee “Vera” Gill, 92, of Smackover, AR passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at the Medical Center of South Arkansas in El Dorado, AR.
Visitation will be from 12:30 – 2:00 P.M., Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Young’s in El Dorado.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, July 13 at Young’s with Rev. Allison Howell officiating. Burial will be Friday July 14, 2017 at noon at Little Rock National Cemetery, 2532 Springer Blvd., Little Rock, AR 72206 under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

RODELL KING Rodell King, 84, of El Dorado passed on July 4, 2017 at Grace Point Health Care and Rehabilitation. She was born January 1, 1933 in El Dorado, Arkansas to
Nettie and Henry Buckner. She was the last living of all her many brothers and sisters. She spoke often of her strong faith in her Heavenly Father and was a member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church in El Dorado. She is survived by many nieces who showed her much care and attention during her lengthy illness. They are Theresa Malone, Glenda Rucks, Sharon Fant, Anna Fay Davidson, Henrietta Jones, and Camelia Melonson.
Rodell was full of life and she had many friends in El Dorado such as Angela Elliot, who always made her hair look beautiful and was a truly kind and loyal friend. She is beloved by the Sheppard family for whom she worked over half a century, cooking great food and keeping the children in line.
Visitation will be Monday, July 10, 2017 from 12 noon until 6pm at Sims Mortuary. Funeral services will be at 11 am Tuesday, Jul 11, 2017 at St. John Baptist Church with Rev.
