JUDITH A. PETTY

Judith Ann Petty, 70, of El Dorado, passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2017, at the Medical Center of South Arkansas.

She was born Oct. 3, 1946, to Randolph and Mattie Melton Stringfellow in El Dorado.

She was a member of College Avenue Church of Christ and previously worked as a data entry clerk at TOSCO and the Associated Pathology Lab. She enjoyed doing cross stitch, ceramics, crocheting, and genealogy. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and her home was always full of children.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her husband, Terry Bruce Petty Sr.

Survivors include her four children, Deborah Ellis (Steve) of El Dorado, John Stanley of El Dorado, Terry Petty Jr. (Polly) of Junction City, and Ronda Pill of El Dorado; and nine grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. today at Young’s.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 15, 2017, at College Avenue Church of Christ with Kent Jobe officiating.

Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Park under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

Serving as pallbearers will be Dagen Hix, Gage Hix, Tyler Petty, Nick Ellis, Alex Ellis, Keyonta Bland, Mitchell Greene, and Lucas Mason.
