God in Christ: The annual First Lady Day, to honor Delores Hayes, will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday at the church. The speaker will be messenger Stephanie Owens and members of the Trinity Healing and Deliverance Church of God in Christ. Everyone is invited to attend. An annual homecoming service
will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday at the church in Junction City. The speaker will be the Rev. Alfred Hill of Fellowship Baptist Church of Spearsville, Louisiana. St. Mark United Methodist Church: The first Sunday breakfast will be held at 9:30 a.m. Sunday at the church, located at 2010 W. Hillsboro. Guests are invited to come share breakfast and fellowship. Episcopal Church: Homecoming services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at the church, located at 5731 Moro Bay Highway. Guest speaker will be the Rev. Kelcey Highsmith Sr. and members of Weary Rest Baptist Church of Marsden. The theme will be “A Heavenly Visitation” and
scripture will be from Acts 2:2 and 3. The public is invited to attend and lunch will be served. The church’s revival will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday at the church. The theme will be “Lord fill us with the Holy Ghost” and the speaker will be the Rev. Isaiah Walker of Hampton Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church and Palestine African Methodist
Episcopal Church in Johnsville. Tuesday’s speaker will be the Rev. Karal Hammock of St. Andrews African Methodist Episcopal Church of Huttig. Everyone is invited. A pastor’s appreciation service for Sis. Joyce Jones will be held at 11 a.m. on Aug. 20 at the church. The theme will be “A faithful servant’s reward,” and the guest speaker will be Sis. Rone Denny of Olive Light African Methodist Episcopal Church of Smackover. The public is invited to attend and lunch will be served.
Trinity Chapel Assembly of God Church: A gospel singing will be held at 5:30 p.m. today at the church, located at 11714 Haynesville Highway. Refreshments will be served and everyone is welcome to attend.
