ANNIE M. DAVIS Annie Mae Davis, 97, of El Dorado, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2017 at the John R. Williamson Hospice House.

Arrangemen­ts are being made through Perry’s Funeral Chapels.

CALEN SUMMERVILL­E Calen Summervill­e, 21, of El Dorado, passed away Thursday, Aug. 31, 2017.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Young’s Funeral Directors.

Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Ebenezer Baptist Church with the Rev. Steve Pelz officiatin­g.

Burial will follow at Mount Pisgah United Methodist Church Cemetery in Emerson under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

LEVI WARD Services for Levi Ward, 89, of Magnolia, will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday at A.C. Henderson Memorial Chapel, Magnolia with Bro. Willie C. Copeland officiatin­g. CELESTINE CLEMONS Celestine Clemons, 63, of El Dorado, died Saturday, Aug. 26, 2017 at St. Vincent’s Infirmary in Little Rock.

She was born on Nov. 5, 1953 in El Dorado. She was the daughter of Adam and Lois Wilson Clemons. She was employed by Oak Ridge Nursing Home. She was a member of Divine Faith Fellowship Baptist Church.

She is survived by one son, Joseph McElroy of Jacksonvil­le, North Carolina; one brother, Albert Clemons of El Dorado; three sisters, Gertharine Bell of El Dorado, Jeanet Clemons of Russellvil­le, and Janell Singleton of San Diego, California; four grandchild­ren; and one great-grandchild.

Services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Divine Faith Fellowship Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery in Strong under the direction of Andrews Funeral Home. All public viewing will be after the funeral service only.

JERRY L. GEORGE Jerry Lynn George, 57, of Stockton, California, formerly of El Dorado, died Thursday, Aug. 24, 2017 at St. Joseph’s

Medical Center in Stockton.

He was born on Nov. 8, 1959 in El Dorado, to James D. George and

Florine Ford George. He was a 1978 graduate of El Dorado High School. He served in the U.S. Navy until 1983. He was a Methodist.

Survivors are his parents, James D. and Florine George of El Dorado; three brothers, Kenneth George (Lynnette), Raymond George (Patricia), and James George; six sisters, Melissa Mitchell (Danny), Sonia Horton (Edward), Wonda Dawn (James), Lynn George, Brenda Tanner and Beverly Reed.

Service will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday at St. John Missionary Baptist Church in El Dorado with the Rev. Wylie George officiatin­g. Burial will be at a later date in the Arkansas State Veteran’s Cemetery in North Little Rock under the direction of Andrews Funeral Home. There will be no public viewing at the funeral home.

JOHNNY C. MOODY SR. Johnny Carroll Moody Sr., 65, of El Dorado, passed on Saturday, Aug. 26, 2017 at Ouachita County Medical

Center in Camden.

He was born

Jan. 5, 1942 in El Dorado to Alvin Moody and Delphine

Curley.

He was a member of

Victory Bible Church where he was a deacon and usher.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Joe Carl Moody; and a brother, James Moody.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Moody; three children, Johnny Moody Jr., Joey Moody Sr., and Shonda Moody Thurston; and 14 grandchild­ren.

Visitation will be from 1 to 6 p.m. today at Sims Mortuary. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, at Victory Bible Church in El Dorado with Apostle Robert Green officiatin­g. VIRGINIA A. SESSOMS Virginia Ann Sessoms, of Lemoore, California, passed away Aug. 23, 2017 at age 86. She was the daughter of the late Bunn and Dell Sessoms of the Marysville area.

She is survived by her children, Susan Billingsle­y and husband, Tom, of Lemoore, Dinah Piester and husband, Dan, of Nipomo, California, and Kizer Walker and wife, Carmie, of Ithaca, New York; nine grandchild­ren; nine great-grandchild­ren; sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Larry McNeal of Waldo; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Interment will be held at the Marysville Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. in Magnolia.

JAMES C. WILLIAMS James C. Williams, 65, of Calion, passed away on Aug. 23, 2017 at his home.

He was born on Jan. 1, 1953 in Selma to

Dorsey and

Elois Williams.

He was a member of

Willow Grove Missionary

Baptist Church and an employee of Calion Lumber Company. He was preceded in death by his parents; and four sisters.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Sherry Harrel Williams; six sisters, Willie M. Brown of Little Rock, Norma J. Keel of El Dorado, Ruby J. Steward of Calion, Shirley A. Butler of Selma, Mae L. Williams of North Little Rock, and Debra D. Williams of Monticello; grandmothe­r, Alice Ruth Brown and a special friend, Miss Gwendolyn Banks.
