TERRY L. CRITTON Terry Lynn Critton, 50, of El Dorado passed away on Sept. 5, 2017 in Malvern.

Sara June Putman, 88, of El Dorado was called home by the Lord to her heavenly home on Sunday, Sept. 3, 2017 at the Medical Center of South Arkansas.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Young’s with the Rev. David Stipp-Bethune officiatin­g. Entombment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

Visitation will be held from 5- 7 p.m. Thursday at Young’s.

Memorials may be made to First Presbyteri­an Church, 300 E. Main, South Arkansas Art Center, 110 E. Fifth St., or to UCAPS, 1000 Sunset Road, El Dorado, AR 71730.

Obituaries

DEBORAH CADE Deborah Harvey Cade, of Brandon, 65, passed away suddenly Saturday, Sept. 2, while visiting children and grandchild­ren in Olive Branch, Mississipp­i. She was a native of El Dorado, Arkansas, and had made her home in the metro area since 1998. She was employed for the past 15 years by Morris Petroleum/Victory Marketing of Ridgeland.

She is survived by her loving husband, soulmate and best friend, James (Jim) Holt Cade, Jr. of Brandon, her two sons, Michael (Aimee) Beebe and Adam (Alison) Beebe, both of El Dorado, her stepdaught­er, Carley (Ramey) Cade Smith of Oxford and stepson, Casey (Lindsey) Cade of Olive Branch. She is also survived by her brother, Raymon (Beth) Harvey of Little Rock, Arkansas, and niece, Sara Harvey of Santa Cruz, California.

In addition, she’s survived by seven grandchild­ren, Emma, Clara, Liam, Holt, Sarah Scott, Amelia, and Catie James and numerous family and friends. She also leaves behind what she considered her “second family,” her co-workers at Morris Petroleum/Victory Marketing.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ed Lee Harvey, Jr. and mother, Nora Elizabeth Harvey.

Deborah enjoyed making and buying clothes and toys for her grandchild­ren. Also, she deeply loved her dog, Angel. Although raised an Arkansas Razorback, she enjoyed tailgating in the Grove with family and friends to root for her adoptive team, the Ole Miss Rebels.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today with a memorial service immediatel­y following at the Sebrell Funeral Home located at 425 Northpark Drive, Ridgeland, MS 39157.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to the Children’s of Mississipp­i (Batson Children’s) Hospital or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.

CHRIS WADSWORTH Christophe­r Adams Wadsworth, 65, passed away after a lingering illness on Aug. 22 in Beatty, Nevada. Chris was a CPA and internal auditor/ accountant for

A native of El Dorado, he was born at Fort Belvoir, Virginia, where his father worked as a CPA during the Korean Conflict.

Chris was the beloved father of two children, Melissa Wadsworth Kraus (Brenton) of Harper, Kansas, and Nathan Adams Wadsworth (Jen) of Beatty. The former husband of Tamara Pifer, Chris had seven grandchild­ren, Jaydon, Laura, Kaitlynn, Ivy, Hunter, Jaylynn and Locke.

Other relatives include two brothers, Harry Wadsworth III (Debbie) of Mandeville, La. and Matt Wadsworth (Dee) of Dallas, Texas. Chris also had one niece, Lauren Price (Chad) and two nephews, Patrick Michener (Liz) and Harry Wadsworth IV (Samantha). Other relatives include an aunt and uncle, Max and Wilma Adams, and another aunt, Mickey Adams, all of El Dorado and numerous cousins. Chris was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Reva Wadsworth.

A veteran, Chris served in the U.S. Army and later earned his accounting degree from University of South Florida in Tampa. He became a CPA at his dad’s accounting practice on North Washington in El Dorado. He later moved to Las Vegas, and then rural Nevada where he fell in love with the beautiful desert landscape.

Chris worked for a silver mining company prior to the Stagecoach Hotel & Casino. There he made many friends. His boss described him as a valuable part of the organizati­on whose shoes will be hard to fill.

One of his favorite memories was performing the song, “Ahab the Arab,” with his 1970 graduating class as part of the Senior Follies at El Dorado High. He pantomimed the song to great fanfare and ovation.

A memorial service will be at 5 p.m. Sept. 13 at the Stagecoach Hotel & Casino in Beatty, Nev. VFW members will present a flag to each of Chris’ children and play “Taps.”
