JAMES DICKERSON
James D. "JD" Dickerson, 67, of El Dorado passed September 3, 2017 at his home. He was born December 14, 1949 to Girtha McAlphin and Cornelius Dickerson. He was a member of First Saint James
Baptist Church where he attended until his death.
He was a 1967 graduate of Washington High
School. He served in the
United States Air Force for
11 years.
Survivors are his wife,
Sandra Reynolds Dickerson of El Dorado, AR; brother, James W. Dickerson of Bernice, LA; sisters, Ola Nunley of Oakland, CA; Jean Henderson of El Dorado, AR; and Geraldine Jackson of Lawndale, CA; son, Rodriguez Reynolds of El Dorado, AR; daughters, Makeba Dickerson Moore of El Dorado, AR and Syreeta Fowlkes of Killeen, TX.
Public Visitation will be Monday, September 11,2017 from 12 noon.-6:00 p.m. at Sims Mortuary. Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 12, 2017 11:00 am First St. James Baptist Church with Rev. Roy C. Aaron, eulogist. Interment at Mt. Sinah Freewill Cemetery in El Dorado, Arkansas under the direction of Sims Mortuary.

GEORGE D. PUCKETT George Dennis Puckett, 88 of Springdale formerly of El Dorado, died on Friday, September 8, 2017 at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, AR.
Born on September 17,
1928 in Rison, AR; he was the son of John Gilbert
Puckett and Elsie Lorene
May Puckett. Dennis served in the Army. He was employed by Lion Oil and was the former city clerk for El Dorado. Dennis was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters, Mary Evelyn Moore Coburn, Frances Annetta Nichols and a brother John Gilbert Puckett Jr.
Survivors are his wife of 65 years Nancy Geraldine Puckett; son Lamar Puckett, daughter Lynda (Melvin) Cline, and son Larry (Terri) Puckett all of Springdale, AR; 5 grandchildren John (Krystal) Swint, Leslie (Ryan) Peterson, Micah (Kelsey) Puckett, Betsy Puckett, Aaron (Maggie) Cline and 2 great grandchildren Haylee Swint, Kylee Swint.
The Family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 pm to 8 pm at Youngs Funeral Directors.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at Young’s Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Micah Puckett officiating. Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park.
