Services for Ola Pearl Foster, 90, of El Dorado will be at 3 p.m. today at Zion Watch Baptist Church.
Interment will be at Zion Watch Cemetery under the direction of Sims Mortuary.

Services for Willie Martin will be at 11 a.m. today at Mount Calvary Baptist Church in El Dorado with Pastor John Elliott officiating. Interment will be in St. Matthew Cemetery in McNeil, under the direction of Sims Mortuary.
DOROTHY M. MODEST
Services for Dorothy Mae Fields-Modest, 73, will be held at 3 p.m. today at the Woodlawn Baptist Church in Farmerville, Louisiana, with the Rev. Adrian Nelson officiating. Interment will follow at the Gumspring Cemetery in Farmerville.
JAMES G. SIMPSON
Services for James Grady Simpson will be 3 p.m. today at the church with the Rev. Ken Overton officiating. Burial will follow at Means Cemetery in Calhoun County under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
SHERWOOD THURLKILL
Services for Sherwood Thurlkill, 78, of El Dorado, will be held at noon today at Mount Union Baptist Church with Bro. John Aires officiating. Burial will follow at Smyrna Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
Obituaries GARY D. GRIMES
Gary D. Grimes, 47, died at his residence located at 1312 Orchard Lane in El Dorado. The cause of death was due to natural causes.
He was born Jan. 15, 1970 in Dallas, Texas, where he lived until he met and married his wife, Tammy Grimes and they became residents of Arkansas, where they have resided for the past 25 years.
Survivors included his wife, Tammy Grimes of El Dorado; son, Gary Grimes of El Dorado; mother, Judy Tendleton Tomko of Dallas; and sisters, Melissa Meeks and Jamie Grimes, also of Dallas. He is also survived by family, in-laws, nieces, nephews and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Grimes.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 17, 2017 at El Dorado Church of God, located at 2717 Parnell Road, El Dorado, with Pastor Eric Synder officiating. Fellowship for the family and friends will follow the memorial services.
MITTIE L. WRIGHT
Mittie Lee Wright, 98, of El Dorado, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2017, at Timberlane Health and Rehab.
She was born Aug. 19, 1919, to James Clay and Mary Josie Langley Daniel in Camden.
She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church and formerly a member of Joyce City Baptist Church. Mittie was a homemaker.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, G. Reed Wright; three brothers, Luther Daniel, Harvey Daniel, and Brodus Daniel; sister, Sally
Marks; and son-in-law, Jim Riley.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Virginia Riley of El Dorado, and Martha Evelyn Coop (Dennis) of Sherwood; five grandchildren, Steve Murphy (Alice) of El Dorado, Michael Murphy (Stacey) of Bentonville, Tim Coop (Melinda) of Liberty City, Texas, Luke Coop of Little Rock, and Christianne Hall (Byron) of North Little Rock; three step-grandchildren, Fred Riley of El Dorado, Lisa Hartsfield (Scott) of Camden, and David Riley (Melissa) of Camden; 10 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several step-great-grandchildren and step-great-greatgrandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 17, 2017, at Young’s Chapel with the Rev. Connor Garlington and the Rev. David Mitchell officiating. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. until service time. Burial will follow at Smackover Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
