Reminder of Services

KAY H. CHAFFIN Kay Hogue Chaffin, 72, of El Dorado, was eternally healed on Sept. 28, 2017 in El Dorado at Life Touch Hospice, surrounded by her family, following a lengthy courageous battle with cancer.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Young’s Chapel with the Rev. Tim Hogue officiatin­g. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. until service time at the funeral home Sunday. Burial will follow at Buena Vista Cemetery in Camden under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made, in her memory, to the John R. Williamson Hospice House at 2301 Champagnol­le Road, El Dorado, AR 71730.

A celebratio­n of the life of Eddie L. Parker will be held at 2 p.m. today at the American Legion Hall, 325 Legion Drive, in Magnolia, under the direction of Henderson’s. ADRIENNE L.

POWELL Service for Adrienne L. Powell, 49, of El Dorado, will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Beulah Grove Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Luther Harris Jr. officiatin­g. Burial will follow in Mount Zion Cemetery in Urbana under the direction of Andrews Funeral Home. All public viewing will be held at the church. BOBBIE J. SULEPHEN Funeral for Bobbie Jean Sulephen, 88, of El Dorado, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hillsboro Street Church of Christ with J.O. Leal and John Fields officiatin­g. A reception will follow at the church. A private burial will be held under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

FANNIE M. WEAVER Fannie Mae Bass Weaver, of Union County, passed away on Sept. 17, 2017.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Union Arc Baptist Church in Junction City with the Rev. Joseph Waller officiatin­g. Burial will follow at Union Arc Baptist Church Cemetery.

Interment will follow at Beech Grove Cemetery, Taylortown, under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Farmervill­e.

Lou Nell was born on Jan. 3, 1942 in Spearsvill­e, Louisiana and passed away on Sept. 28, 2017 in Farmervill­e. She was a member of Blanchard Springs Baptist Church and enjoyed singing, cooking, and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Lucille Smith; brother, William Smith; sister, Jeannie Taylor; and great-grandson, Dalton James Hawkins.

Survivors include her husband, James Griffith of Farmervill­e; son, Max Hawkins (Sharon); daughters, Bonnie Bracknell (Tim) and Pamela Griffith (Ismeal Calvillo); three granddaugh­ters, Jennifer Halley, Ryan Nolan, and Felicia Kimmerling; five grandsons, Nathan Hawkins, Steven Thurston, Kristopher Kimmerling, Zach Hawkins, and Eric Calvillo; 12 great-grandchild­ren, Danielle, Samantha, Lyric, Lily, Jorja-Kate, Daniel, Jackson, Jacob, Justice, Bryce, Avery, and Kinley; and sisters, Joyce Griffith (Bobby) and Shirley Martindale (Wayne).

Visitation will be held from 5 until 8 p.m. today at Kilpatrick Funeral Home.

BOBBIE S. WHITE Mrs. Bobbie Sue Washam White, 84, of Junction City, Louisiana, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2017, in Crossett, AR.

Mrs. White was born on July 11, 1933 in Spearsvill­e, Louisiana, to the union of Robert Summers and Eula Linder Summers.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Dewayne Washam; five brothers; and two sisters.

She was a lifelong member of the Bethel Baptist Church, where she had been very active through the years. Mrs. White was a retired bus driver having worked for the Junction City School System.

Survivors include her husband, Wiley Cecil White of Crossett; two sons, David Washam of Junction City and Tim Washam of Farmervill­e, Louisiana; four step-daughters, Melanie Collins and husband, Tim, and Alisa White, both of Crossett, Ashley White of Dallas, Texas, and Lesley Bayer and her husband, Todd, of Cincinnati, Ohio; one step-son, Barry White of Junction City; four grandchild­ren, April Roschel, Leslie Younse, Gabe Washam, and Brandon Washam; seven great- grandchild­ren, Tyler McCauley, PVT. Austin McCalman, Parker Younse, Amaye Roschel, Lily Washam, Gilly Washam, and Elly Washam; eight step-grandchild­ren; several step-great-grandchild­ren; great-great-grandchild­ren; and numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 30, 2017 at Bailey Funeral Home, Junction City.

Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 1, 2017 at the Bethel Baptist Church in Lillie, Louisiana with the Rev. Phillip Farris officiatin­g. Interment will be in the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, Junction City, AR.
