A chain of pizza places based on the West Coast is looking for a location in El Dorado, as well as someone to run it.

According to a news release, Pizza Factory, a California-based company with 110 locations in six states, is accepting “franchisee inquiries from local residents that have a passion for their hometown.”

“The role we play goes well beyond just being the best place in the neighborhood for pizza,” said Mary Jane Riva, president and CEO of Pizza Factory. “We create opportunities for El Dorado residents to live and work in their hometown while building a business of their own. We are growing our footprint into neighborhoods big and small where we know our awesome people, product and philanthropic partnerships will be valued and El Dorado has exactly what we are looking for.”

The restaurant advertises handtossed pizzas, handmade pastas, sandwiches and salads.

According to the release, Pizza Factory locations take part in the “No Bully Zone” program, which raises awareness about the prevalence of bullying in schools and the community.

Some locations partner with local schools to educate children on the issue, according to the Pizza Factory website.

The release notes the restaurants also offer fundraising programs to support local schools, youth sports leagues and other community groups and organizations.

According to past releases from the company, in the past year, it has looked to grow its market in Texas, Colorado, New Mexico, Wyoming and Montana.

The company will host “a discover day” in November for people interested in becoming franchisees, though no information was given as to when that day would be or what it entails.

To learn more about how to attend the discovery day, interested people can fill out a form at pizzafactoryfranchises.com.
