Paint the Town Pink 5k Place: The square in El Dorado Date: 8 a.m. Saturday More information: Event Description Paint the Town Pink is a fun family-friendly 5K color walk/run to benefit the #teamcorrie Cancer Foundation. #teamcorrie gives $1000 grants to cancer patients in Union County to help with their medical expenses.

Strong Fall Festival Place: Downtown Strong Date: Starts at 10 a.m. Saturday More information: The second annual Strong Fall Festival will feature a variety of children’s activities, food and merchandise vendors, a DJ and music. A concert at 7 p.m. will feature blues and southern soul artists Omar Cunningham, Summer Wolfe and Ghetto Cowboy.
Admission into the festival will be free until 6 p.m. For the concert, tickets are $10 in advance and $15 the day of the event. Tickets are available at Strong City Hall and Mr. Mike’s Music and Artwork in El Dorado.
