KENNETH R. BOUGHER Kenneth Ray “Buddy” Bougher, Sr., 61, of El Dorado passed away October 19, 2017 at St. Vincent’s Infirmary in Little

Rock. Kenneth was born in

1956 to Donald

Ray Bougher and Bobbie

Nell Powell Carpenter. He was the owner/ operator of Radiator Service and Sales. He loved hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.

Preceding him in death is his father, Donald Ray Bougher and his grandson, Alex Ray Bougher.

Those left to cherish his memories are his children, Kenneth Ray “Bubba” Bougher, Jr., Vickie Marie Harrison, Amber Denise Allen (Davy); his mother, Bobbie Nell Carpenter; step mother, Joyce Bougher; ex-wife, Angie Bougher , grandchild­ren, Christophe­r Adam Harrison II, Alexis Ann Bougher, Dalton James Allen and Savanna Marie Allen; one brother, Bill Bougher (Tami); sisters, Debra Ann Barnes, Joyce Ann Moody; Sharon Setterman (Roger), Sheryle June Lujan; special friends, Chris Harrison and Alice; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6 8pm on Sunday, October 22 at Perry’s Funeral Chapels.

Services will be held at 10am on Monday, October 23 also at Perry’s Funeral Chapels.

Interment will follow at Craig Cemetery.

GARY R. MASON

Gary Randall Mason age 72 of Spearsvill­e, LA passed away Friday, October 20, 2017 at the John R. Williamson Hospice House in El Dorado. Gary was born September 13, 1945 in Lillie, LA to the late Annie Lucille Jinks Mason and Forest Bernard Mason. Gary was a retired self, employed carpenter, having helped build numerous houses throughout his career. He enjoyed being outdoors and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was an avid Yankees Baseball fan and never missed watching them play on TV.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife, Wanda Joyce Mason; two sisters, Rita MeLelland and Peggy Rogers.

Survivors include; two sons, Gary Anthony “Tony” Mason and wife Pam of Spearsvill­e and Daniel Mason also of Spearsvill­e; one grandson, Justin Green of Ft. Carson, Colorado; one granddaugh­ter, Mollie Green of Spearsvill­e; three brothers, Jimmy Mason and wife Pat, Derrell Mason and Wife Clara, Ferrell Mason and wife Angie all of Spearsvill­e along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. followed by Funeral Services at 12:00 noon on Monday, October 23, 2017 at Antioch Church of Christ near Spearsvill­e with Tommy Bennett and Billy Bennett officiatin­g. Burial with military honors will follow at Antioch Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home.

Pallbearer­s will be; Justin Green, Marty Mason, Randy Rogers, Shane Mason, Jody Mason and Jason Mason.

BRUCE MATHEWS Bruce Mathews, 90, of Pencil Bluff, AR, died peacefully at his home Tuesday, October 17, 2017, with his family by his side. He was born July 26,

1927 to Carson and Etta Hayes Mathews in Felsenthal, AR.

He joined the Merchant Marines as a Stewards Mate in 1943 and graduated from the U.S. Maritime Service Training in St. Petersburg, FL in 1945 and served as a Merchant Mariner for an additional eight and a half years. Bruce served from 1953 to 1955 in the United States Army stationed in Whittier, AK. On July 4, 1953, he married Ruth Bidwell in New York City, NY. He lived in Alaska for 44 years in Sitka, Bethel, Glennallen, Anchorage and King Salmon. He worked in the communicat­ions industry. In 1997 he retired and moved back to his home state of Arkansas to be closer to his brother and sisters and to get out of the cold in Alaska.

Preceding him in death are his parents; wife, Ruth Bidwell Mathews; daughter, Connie Beckman; grandson, Joshua Beach; brothers, M.C., Pete, Fletcher, Dillard, Cordell, and Jerry Mathews; and sister, Virginia Perryman.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Ronald Mathews (Kathryn); daughters, Janet Julsen (Kurt), Debbie Mathews, Joyce Gilmore, Geri Beach (Michael Eells); grandchild­ren, Cory and Joseph Call, Brian and Mariah Julsen, Heidi and Zachary Mathews, Jynal Radziukina­s, Joshua and Brent Kimzey, Ashley Allison, Paolo, Antonio and Corrado Gilmore; and numerous great grandchild­ren.

A Rosary service will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Monday, October 23, 2017, at Young’s Funeral Directors.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm. Tuesday, October 24, 2017, at Young’s Chapel with Ron Mathews officiatin­g. Burial will follow at Lapile Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

Serving as pallbearer­s will be Ricky Nalls, Dennis Mason, Jim Mason, Mark Mathews, Allen Bomar, and Dwayne Mathews.

PAUL R. MITCHELL Paul R. Mitchell, 84, of El Dorado, AR, died on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Timberlane Health and Rehabilita­tion.

Born on June

5, 1933 in Camden, AR; he was the son of

Lutch Mitchell and Annie Robertson

Mitchell.

Paul was a member of The First United Methodist Church of El Dorado where he sang in the choir. He retired after 37 years from Lion Oil Pipeline. Paul served in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict on the USS Razorback submarine. He enjoyed watching western movies and in his youth he enjoyed camping and boating. His greatest love was spending time with his grandchild­ren.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, James Robertson Mitchell and Harry L. Mitchell; a sister, Vera Chamlee and his son, Brian P. Mitchell.

Survivors are his wife of 62 years, Kay Pool Mitchell; a son, Brent A. (Jill) Mitchell of El Dorado; daughters, Paula (Bobby) Bilo of El Dorado, Donna (Duane) Robinson, Karen (Doug) Griffin of Lake Charles; a sister, Betty Ann Greening; along with seven grandchild­ren and five great grandchild­ren.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Sunday, October 22, 2017 at Young’s.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m., Monday, October 23, 2017 in the Chapel of Young’s Funeral Directors with Rev. Keith Dodson officiatin­g. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

CHARLES F. PERDUE Charles Fredrick Perdue, 83, of El Dorado passed away October 20, 2017 at Timberlane Health and Rehabilita­tion in

Perdue. The Lord needed a good duck caller and somebody that knew how to fish a spinner bait. He served the Lord many, many years and was a Deacon at Wyatt Baptist Church. He was a wonderful role model for his children, grandchild­ren, great-grandchild­ren, and great great-grandchild­ren.

Preceding him in death are his parents, Fred W. and Diamond Perdue; sisters, Patsy Taft, Jerolyn Hurst, and Martha Dickson; and one brother, Glen Perdue,.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 64 years, Bettie Perdue; daughter Annette Stegall (John Wade); son Mike Perdue (Kathleen); grandchild­ren, Shelia Spears (Bryan), JoJo Mays (Cristie), Angel Waller, Richard Perdue (Toni), Matt Perdue (Kerri) Michelle Stegall Porter, Michael Stegall, Matt Moore (Toni), Jake Moore (Samantha); 15 great-grandchild­ren; 3 great great-grandchild­ren; and an aunt, Margie Massey.

Visitation will be held at 1:30 pm on Monday, October 23 with services following at 2:30 pm on Monday, October 23 at Wyatt Baptist Church.

Interment will follow at Wyatt Parnell Cemetery.

Serving as Pallbearer­s are Richard Perdue, Matt Perdue, Herbie Pepper, JoJo Mays, Donald Hurst, David Hurst. Travis Worrel will serve as Honorary Pallbearer.
