Benie Beene Jr., 85, of Emerson, died Friday, Nov. 3, 2017 at Heritage Nursing Center of Haynesvill­e, Louisiana.

Obituaries RICKY L. BEAIRD

Funeral for Ricky Lee Beaird, 63, of Spearsvill­e, Louisiana, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2017 at Liberty Baptist Church near Spearsvill­e with Pastor Glenn Neimeyer and Pat Arnold officiatin­g. Burial will be in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmervill­e, Louisiana.

Ricky was born on Nov. 25, 1953 in Bernice, Louisiana. He worked in the oilfield and drove trucks for many years. He enjoyed riding horses and antique cars. He was a proud owner of an ’87 El Camino Hot Rod.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Odis and Agnes Beaird of Spearsvill­e.

He is survived by his daughters, Casey Beaird Colvin and husband,

Devlin of Spearsvill­e, and Sierra Beaird of Spearsvill­e; one son, Jeremy Winter; two sisters, Elizabeth Garris and husband, C.C. of Farmervill­e and Brenda Griffith and husband, Jess, of Haughton, Louisiana; two granddaugh­ters, Billie Beaird and Willow Beaird; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Pallbearer­s will be Cornelius Heard, Roy “Chip” Payne, Ben Barnes, Mark Bearden, Steve Bodine and Jessie Smith.

Honorary pallbearer­s will be Earl Williams, Pepper Green, Jeremy Winter, James Smith and Casey Woods.

Visitation will be from 4 until 7 p.m. today at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in Farmervill­e. The family will also receive friends and family from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. Wednesday before the service.

Online memorials may be left at farrarfune­ralhomeonl­ine.com. BESSIE G. GREEN Bessie G. Whatley Green, 86, of Spearsvill­e, Louisiana, passed away Friday, Nov. 3, 2017, at the John R. Williamson Hospice House following a brief illness.

She was born July 20, 1931 in Lillie, Louisiana, to Minor C. Patterson and Ambrey Dale Hogue Patterson. She was a member of Blanchard Springs Baptist Church as well as a homemaker, a wonderful mother and grandmothe­r.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Houston

R . Whatley; one son, Jackie Whatley; one sister; three brothers; and one son-in-law, Steve Hux.

Survivors include two daughters, Vera Pennington of Junction City, and Trenna Hux of El Dorado; three sons, Wayne Patterson (Ann) of Ruston, Louisiana, Rickey Whatley (Carolyn) of Junction City, Louisiana, and Adam Whatley (Jennifer) of Marion, Louisiana; three brothers; 17 grandchild­ren; 18 great-grandchild­ren; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral swill be held at 2 p.m. today at Blanchard Springs Baptist Church of Junction City with Bro. Richard Methen officiatin­g.

Visitation was held on Monday, Nov. 6 at Perry’s Funeral Chapels.

Interment will follow at Beech Grove Cemetery in Spearsvill­e.

NATALIE M. PARHAM

Natalie Marie Daniels Crittenden Parham, 86, of El Dorado, passed away at Hudson Nursing Home on Saturday Nov. 4, 2017.

Natalie was born Aug. 1, 1931 in Union County, to Louie

Marie Hill Daniels. She was a member of Dumas Memorial Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father; her husband, Wiley Parham; brother, Harold E. Daniels; grandson, Brian Scott Crittenden; and her first husband, M. C. Crittenden.

In her early years Natalie worked in the Arkansas State Revenue office in El Dorado. After moving to Texarkana, Arkansas she worked as a bookkeeper and office manager for Sears for 30 years until her retirement.

Survivors include her son, Brian Keith Crittenden (Kelly) of El Dorado; stepchildr­en, Debra Parham Bates (Guy) of El Dorado, Marsha Parham of Shreveport, Louisiana, and Wiley Parham Jr. (Nish) of Frisco, Texas; grandchild­ren, Lindsey Tompkins (Kevin) of El Dorado, and Ross Crittenden of El Dorado; granddaugh­ter-in-law, Richelle Crittenden; step- grandchild­ren, Mathew Bates (Keri) of Stephens, Alicia Parham and Colton Parham of Frisco; great-grandchild­ren, Jannen Crittenden of Springhill, Louisiana, Alexa Tompkins of El Dorado, Caleb Crittenden of Conway, Payten Tompkins of El Dorado, and Phoenix Crittenden of West Monroe, Louisiana; one greatgreat-grandson, Roman Scott Vaughn; sisters, Anna Ray Morgan and Yvonne Eudy Langley of El Dorado; brother, Charley Daniels of Bryant; and her special friend, Charles Tabor of Summerfiel­d, Louisiana.

Natalie was always the life of the party. She had a very outgoing personalit­y and one of her many talents was planning and entertaini­ng her family and co-workers. She was a beautiful person and remained beautiful through a very lengthy illness. She will be missed by those who loved and enjoyed her through the years. Natalie was very active with her church family at Dumas Memorial Methodist Church. She loved taking her grandchild­ren to church with her. She also loved to sing during the special singing services. During her illness Natalie was supported by her church family and family members.

Visitation will be held from 5 until 7 p.m. today, at Young’s Funeral Directors. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2017, at Bethel Chapel Assembly of God Church under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

THOMAS E. ROSEGRANT

Thomas E. Rosegrant, 61, of Conway passed away Sunday, Nov. 5, 2017.

Born Dec. 27, 1955 in El Dorado, he was the son of Gene and Betty Owens Rosegrant, who preceded him in death, along with a brother, Gary Wayne Rosegrant.

Survivors include brothers, David Rosegrant of Pine Bluff, Robert Rosegrant of Monticello, Kenneth Ray Rosegrant of Rayville, Louisiana and Richard “Pete” Rosegrant of El Dorado; and a sister, Linda Gail Rosegrant of El Dorado.

Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2017 at First Christian Church in El Dorado with the Rev. Thomas Freeman officiatin­g. Interment will follow in Smyrna Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

The family will receive friends for visitation from 1 p.m. until service time Wednesday at First Christian Church. Memorials may be made to Conway Human Developmen­t Center, 150 E. Seibenmorg­an Road, Conway, AR 72032.
