CHARLES NEWTON Charles Newton, 76, of El Dorado, passed away Monday, Nov. 20, 2017 at the John R. Williamson Hospice House in El Dorado.

CORINTHIA WATKINS Corinthia Watkins a long-time resident of Prescott, and passed away on Monday, Nov. 13, 2017 at Prescott Manor Nursing Home in Prescott.

She was born on

June 27, 1947 to

John Watkins and

Mary Shutes Watkins in Crossett. Corinthia was a 1965 graduate of Rancho High

School in Las Vegas and completed one year of nursing training. She worked in the emergency room business office at Las Vegas hospital until she retired. She later relocated to Arkansas and moved to Prescott. Although she had no children of her own, she cherished her nephew as her own son.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Selma Outlaw.

She will be missed by her nephew, Mike Outlaw of Dickson, Tennessee; and one sister, Ann Elston of Dickson, Tennessee; a great niece, Shateeka (Pratt) Leflore of Brandon, Mississipp­i; a special cousin, Janie Miller of El Dorado; as well as the administra­tion and staff of Prescott Manor.

As she requested her body was cremated and a memorial service will be held in Dickson, Tennessee. Services provided by Williams Funeral Home of Arkadelphi­a. Sign the guestbook online at www.funeralsat­wlliams.com.
