Way of Life: Living a tough life early
Dear Diary, I know that there could be happiness and there could be sadness. In this world today, there are more hurts than gentleness and kindness.
Today, there are more young people with no one to look up to. Young people aren’t able to go to an older adult for guidance because there’s no patience, more complaining and no beneficial advice. More young people are giving up on life.
Young people are developing mistrust disorders.
When young people make it through high school and start college, they are basically on their own because they don’t have anyone to go to financially for help — for food, places to stay when there are no dorms or transportation. Young people have to work and go to college.
Young people, it takes some sacrifices in life to be somebody. Don’t give up on life because of stumbling blocks. Use them as stepping stones. Philippians 4:13 said, “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.”
As a student publisher, doors have shut in my face and I deal with trials and tribulations in my life. I had to learn money management very quickly because of the expenses in life.
My aunt taught me clearly about money management and I thank her for teaching me something that I was weak in. Young people, I encourage you to learn to save money. When you put back, it will be a life saver later on, even if its $5 out of every pay check.
My mother pushed me to be an independent woman and now I am wiser. I know that the good Lord will provide my every need as well as yours in our lives.
We’ve got to stand strong, keep joy in our hearts and just say “Thank you, Lord” for what He has blessed us with.
All of us humans are a chosen generation. We have been blessed with a gift of talent. We all have some kind of calling upon our lives, but there is always going to be something that would stop you from the Lord’s calling.
Every day that I work, I ask myself, “Am I getting anywhere?” The answer is yes, because I know that God has a beautiful blessing with my name on it.
Young people, keep running with the football. Don’t give up in life. You’re about to get a touch down.
