LARRY RICKS

Larry “The Meat Doctor” Ricks, 67, of Huttig passed away Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017.

Funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, 2017 at Philippian C.O.G.I.C. in Huttig. Burial will be at Huttig Cemetery under the direction of Paradise Funeral Home of Bernice, Louisiana.

Reminder of Services

ALLIE STEPHENS Funeral for Allie Stephens, 102, will be held at noon Friday, Dec. 8, 2017 at the Christ Centered Ministries Church in Farmervill­e, Louisiana, with the Rev. Michael Singleton pastor, officiatin­g.

Interment will follow at the Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Farmervill­e.

Visitation will be held from 2 until 5 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 7, at the Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.

BILLY R. LEACH Visitation for Billy Roy Leach will be held from noon until 2 p.m. Saturday with services following at Carnes Funeral Home, 3100 Gulf Freeway, Texas City, Texas.

JERRY W. THOMAS Visitation for Jerry Wayne Thomas, 73, of Monroe, Louisiana, formerly of Junction City, will begin at 9 a.m. today at Beech Grove Methodist Church near Spearsvill­e, Louisiana. Graveside services will follow at 10 a.m. at Beech Grove Cemetery with Bro. Johnny Atkins officiatin­g and under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of Junction City.

HARRY L. DUMAS Harry Lynn Dumas, 70, of El Dorado, died on Dec. 2, 2017.

He was born June 28, 1947. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry Lee and Marie Dumas; and his step-father, O.R. “Hamp” Hampton.

Lynn served his country in the United States Air Force stationed at Barksdale AFB in Shreveport, Louisiana, the Island of Crete, Greece as Morse systems operator and radio operator with top security clearance; Keesler AFB in Biloxi, Mississipp­i and served in the Drum & Bugle Corps; and Kelly AFB in San Antonio, Texas. He returned to

Union County to work for over

30 years for the Arkansas Department of

Human Services.

He is survived by Mary

Frances Rister

Dumas, his wife of 45 years; his son, Stacy Rister Dumas and wife Ashley Pruitt and their children, Greyson Pruitt, Grier Estelle and Gretchen Bailey of Conway; his daughter, Lyndsey Marie Dumas of Little Rock; his brother, Jack William Dumas of Wyoming, son Jeremy Lee Dumas and his wife and child Megean Paige and Hailey Samantha of Valdosta, Georgia, and daughter Jenifer Ann McClelland of Mississipp­i. He is also survived by sister- and brother-in-law, Linda Rister and Larry David Gaddis, their daughter Emily Rister Gaddis Kocurek, MD, her husband Jared Don and their child Judah David of Little Rock; sister- and brotherin-law, Kathryn Rister and William Arnold Alspaugh, and their children Kara Rister, Evan William, and Trey Wilson of Conway.

Lynn was blessed with many lifelong friends including George Lee Fennell and Virginia Meador.

Committal services will be held at 1 p.m., December 7, 2017 at Arkansas State Veteran’s Cemetery, 1501 W. Maryland Ave., North Little Rock.
