In­ter­ment will fol­low at the Zion Hill Bap­tist Church Ceme­tery in Farmerville.

Visi­ta­tion will be held from 2 un­til 5 p.m. to­day at the Me­mo­rial Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral for Brenda Kay Barnett, 55, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Satur­day, Dec. 9, 2017 at the C.O.G.I.C. in Farmerville, Louisiana, with El­der Dar­rell James, of­fi­ci­at­ing.

In­ter­ment will fol­low at the Com­mu­nity Gar­den Ceme­tery in Farmerville.

Visi­ta­tion will be held from 2 un­til 6 p.m. Fri­day at the Me­mo­rial Funeral Home Chapel.

IDELLA M. JAMER­SON

Funeral for Idella M. Jamer­son, 82, of Mag­no­lia, will be held at 11 a.m. Satur­day, Dec. 9, 2017 at A.C. Hen­der­son Me­mo­rial Chapel in Mag­no­lia with the Rev. Vic­tor Mor­gan of­fi­ci­at­ing.

Burial will fol­low in Free­hope Ceme­tery un­der the di­rec­tion of Hen­der­son Funeral Service.

Visi­ta­tion will be Fri­day from noon un­til 4 p.m. at Hen­der­son’s Mor­tu­ary in Mag­no­lia.

MARY JONES

Funeral for Mary Jones, 66, of Mag­no­lia, who died Satur­day, Dec. 2, 2017, will be held at 2 p.m. Satur­day, Dec. 9 at Trin­ity CME Church, Mag­no­lia with the Rev. Al Brewer of­fi­ci­at­ing.

Burial will fol­low in Ken­drick Chapel Ceme­tery, Wil­lisville, un­der the di­rec­tion of Hen­der­son Funeral Service.

TOM W. HOGUE

Tom Win­ferd Hogue, 73, passed away on Dec. 5, 2017 at the Life Touch Hospice House, af­ter a brief ill­ness.

He was born in Bas­trop, Louisiana on July 28, 1944 to Hal­tom Hogue and Min­nie Lou Cole­man Hogue. He spent his early child­hood in Strong. He moved to El Do­rado while in mid­dle school. He was in the Na­tional

Guard for four years in El

Do­rado, ac­tive duty for two years in Fort Sill, Ok­la­homa. He was dis­charged in 1970 as an

E5 and re­ceived Sol­dier Of The Month his last month in. He was a life­long truck driver. He was of the Bap­tist faith and a mem­ber of Bi­ble Bap­tist Church.

Pre­ced­ing him in death were his par­ents; two broth­ers; Lavelle Hogue of Strong, and Wayne Hogue of Spearsville, Louisiana; and son, Rod­ney Skipper of El Do­rado.

He is sur­vived by a daugh­ter, An­gela Hogue Turner; grand­daugh­ter, Kaytlin Turner, both of El Do­rado; wife, Kathy Hogue of Pea Ridge; a sister, Melba Grif­fin Hol­lis of Rus­ton, Louisiana; sister in-law, Nelda Hogue of Spearsville; two step­sons, David (Doris) Nes­bitt of El Do­rado, and Daniel (Michelle) Nes­bitt of Pea Ridge; step-grand­chil­dren, Brook­lyn Nes­bitt of El Do­rado, Hai­ley and Dal­ton Nes­bitt of Pea Ridge; a spe­cial great-aunt, Edith Moore of Smack­over; and a host of beloved nieces, neph­ews and cousins.

Visi­ta­tion will be held from 5 un­til 7 p.m. to­day at Bi­ble Bap­tist Church on Smack­over High­way.

Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Fri­day, Dec. 8, 2017 at Bi­ble Bap­tist Church with Brother J.D. Weido of­fi­ci­at­ing.

In­ter­ment will fol­low at Brant­ley Ceme­tery in Spearsville, un­der the di­rec­tion of Perry’s Funeral Chapels.

In lieu of flow­ers, do­na­tions may be made to Bi­ble Bap­tist Church or John R. Wil­liamson Hospice House.
