UA-Pulaski Tech now offers innovative virtual reality tours for prospective students

-

NORTH LITTLE ROCK – The University of Arkansas-Pulaski Technical College announced the launch of its newest innovative recruiting approach, UA-PTC in 360, which is a virtual reality simulated campus tour.

UA-PTC in 360 allows prospective students to see the school without actually stepping foot on campus with the virtual reality tour. This program represents yet another way UA-PTC innovates to provide flexible, high-quality services to students – even before enrollment. The college is committed to putting students first in every aspect, promoting excellence and lifelong learning.

Featured in the virtual tours are the Little Rock-South and Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management Institute (CAHMI) sites. Tours of the Main Campus and other UA-PTC locations will be added in the near future.

“UA-PTC strives to be accessible to every Arkansan and to continue innovating and improving the student experience,” said Dr. Margaret Ellibee, UA-PTC chancellor. “The VR program enhances our ability to empower high school students to envision what their futures can be.”

Today, high school counselors from across the state will gather for a luncheon at CAHMI and get a chance to try out Google Cardboard glasses for a first look at the VR tour. UA-PTC will be providing these schools their own set of glasses to utilize with their high school students in their respective areas.
