El Dorado swim team competes in 6A/7A Central District Swimming and Diving Championship.

CONWAY - The 6A/7A Central District Swimming & Diving Championships were held recently at Conway.

El Dorado's boys finished eighth in the 10-team competition, scoring 74 points to place ahead of Jonesboro (43) and Lake Hamilton (32).

Little Rock Central won with 498 followed by Conway (491),Cabot (320), North Little Rock (202), Bryant (146), Little Rock Catholic (142) and Benton (109).

El Dorado's Hudson McDiarmid finished fifth in the boys 50 freestyle and was sixth in the boys 100 freestyle.

The Lady Wildcats placed ninth out of 11 teams with 49 points.

Little Rock Central won the girls title with 448 points followed by Cabot (345), Conway (317), Jonesboro (228), Bryant (208), Benton (170), Mount St. Mary's (160) and North Little Rock (120).
