Upcoming events

• For the Love of Math will be held at the Church of Christ Wednesday. Students will rotate throughout the day. There will be 20 stations with volunteers that will all be based on math. Every grade level at Northwest will participate in this event.

• The Northwest Talent Show will be Feb. 27 at 5:30 p.m., where fourth graders will show off their talents. The event is a fundraiser that will go towards Sea Camp.

• Third Grade Camp-in will be on April 20. There will be a fire where they will roast marshmallows and the students will make bird feeders, plus many more activities. The students will stay in the cafeteria and will watch a movie after finishing all of the activities.

• The Recycling Fair will be in the Northwest cafeteria on April 23 at 5 p.m. The event is come and go, and the student’s artwork, made out of recycled items, will be on display.

• Sea Camp will be from May 1-4. The science filled trip is taken by fourth graders from Northwest Elementary every year.
