Memorial services for Roberta Williamson Evans, 101, will be held at 1 p.m. today in the Chapel of Bailey Funeral Home in El Dorado. Roberta was cremated and her ashes will be interred at the gravesite of her late husband at Old Union Cemetery near El Dorado, in a private burial.

A celebratio­n of Life Reception for Ronnie Hughes, 73, of El Dorado will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. today at the South Arkansas Arts Center, 110 E. 5th Street, in El Dorado.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at the Salem Cemetery, on Highway 172 (Lisbon Road) Smackover, under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of El Dorado.

Obituaries RUBY J. AGERTON

Ruby Juanita Agerton, 90, of Strong, passed away Monday, March 5, 2018, at Timberlane Health and Rehab Center in El Dorado. She was born Sept. 24, 1927, in Urbana, to Laura and Biggs Webb.

She was a homemaker, a member of Green Grove Chapel and a wonderful cook. She loved the Lord, going to church, her family and cooking for them.

Preceding her in death are her husband, Billy Agerton, one sister, Peggy Nash, her parents; and two great, great grandchild­ren, Easton Rhodes and Rosalyn Agerton.

Survivors include two sons, Gary Agerton (Cherry), Jerry Agerton (Sandy); one daughter, Kay Cain

(Micky) all of Strong; seven grandchild­ren; sixteen great grandchild­ren; and ten great, great grandchild­ren.

Visitation was from 6 until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at Green Grove Chapel.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. today at Green Grove Chapel with Colby Agerton, Shamgar Deatherage, and Ricky Smith officiatin­g. Burial will follow in Green Grove Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
