Grambling set to host soccer camp

-

GRAMBLING, La. - The Grambling State University women’s soccer team announces the dates for their college-bound summer soccer camp, hosted for 8th grade girls through junior college transfers.

The four-day camp will be hosted July 6-July 9 and is a great way to showcase your soccer skills and help improve your game. These camps are used as a way to teach essential soccer skills, as well as, being used as a vital recruiting tool for Grambling State University to get to see and work with players for the duration of the camp in competitive learning environments. Our college-bound camp will feature both short and full-sided games in tournament style play.

There are two options that campers can choose from when registering. The first option (1) is to attend camp as a commuter, where you secure your own lodging in the area and meals for the duration of the camp. The cost for commuter campers is $110 if registered by May 1.

The second option (2) is attending as an overnight camper, which includes lodging for each of the three nights in the dorms. The overnight option also includes meals each day and some limited entertainment options on campus. The price for the second option is $300 for individuals registered by May 1.

If you attend with teammates or friends (group of four or more) notify Grambling State head women’s soccer coach Justin Wagar.
