Arkansas’ Hernandez to transfer
FAYETTEVILLE Redshirting last fall as a Razorbacks freshman under the Bret Bielema regime, cornerback Korey Hernandez, after a winter offseason and spring drills under new coach Chad Morris, declared on social media that he intends to seek football opportunities elsewhere and transfer from the UA at the close of the spring semester.
Hernandez parts Arkansas on complimentary terms, noting he met “some unforgettable people” at the UA.
Hernandez, safety Reid Miller, as a graduate transfer, and junior tight end Will Gragg of Dumas have declared their intentions to transfer since spring practice ended.
RAMS, HOGS TV DATE SET
The CBS Sports Network will televise the Arkansas Razorbacks Sept. 8 football game in Fort Collins, Colo., against the Colorado State University Rams, it was announced Tuesday.
The game, Arkansas’ second for the 2018 season under Morris, will kick off at 6:30 p.m. CDT.
Arkansas kicks off its season Sept. 1 hosting Eastern Illinois University at Reynolds Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville.
The Razorbacks play non-conference games against Eastern Illinois, Colorado State and on Sept. 15 against North Texas in Fayetteville before their SEC opener Sept. 22 against the Auburn Tigers in Auburn, Ala.
