To the Editor:

On March 31, 2018 and April 1, 2018 Meet Me At The Court and the Bailey family sponsored the fourth annual Sharion Bailey Whitlock Proclamati­on and Birthday Weekend Celebratio­n; what a great time we had. On Saturday, March 31, we held the 5th Annual Sharion Bailey Whitlock Easter Egg Hunt Extravagan­za. We would like to say a special thank you to God, Robert Edmonds and city employees; Alderman Willie McGhee, Easter Egg Stuffers; Robert Bailey, and the Rev. James Bailey; Egg hiders, Susis Harper, Dorothy Powell, Brenda Stanley, and Candance Carter; and Adult Egg Assistants, Brenda Stanley, Gloria Johnson, Susie Harper, Candace Carter, and Mavis Gill. Facebook and Video profession­al, Sandra Jamerson. All of the pictures were beautiful and the videos were so great.

Kitchen Committee, Servers Set Up Committee, Games Committee, and the Rev. James Bailey the cook of the day. The grilled burgers and hot dogs were delicious, hot and fresh. James Curley, thank you for your tirelessly effort to make sure the Sugartown Riders Motorcycle Club would be there on this special event day. All of the bikers were so friendly and interacted great with the children. They made dreams come true for so many children. A special thank you to Sugartown Motorcycle Riders, El Dorado, Stuttgart, and North Little Rock. You are truly a blessing. Stop the Violence, South Arkansas Coalition, Dr. Jed Frisby, SuperWalma­rt, private donors, Terrance Armstead, Kaitlyn Rigdon, Tia Lyons, and Monette.

Sunday, April 1, Sharion Bailey Whitlock BeYe Steadfest “Hang On In There” Soulfood Dinner was held at Greater Paradise Missionary Baptist Church, special thank you to the Rev. Michael Pierce and GPMBC Family, Lillie Hill’s Catering Service, Servers, and all who attended. We enjoyed the fellowship.
