Dalton Albritton, son of Wendy Walker of Norphlet, and Brian Albritton of El Dorado, is a member of the trap shooting team. He plans to take an apprentice­ship after graduation.

Colt Aycock, son of Stacy and Jim Aycock of Smackover, is a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Future Health Profession­als, Science Club and Litorati. He attends First Baptist Church as a youth member. Aycock plans to attend the University of Arkansas at Fayettevil­le and major in computer programmin­g engineerin­g.

Hunter Baker, son of Terri and Adam Miller of Smackover, is a member of Future Farmer of America. He plans to attend South Arkansas Community College and major in health education. Joseph Barron, son of Stacy Barron of Camden, plans to attend South Arkansas Community College and major in criminal justice. Jacob Beavers, son of Kathy and Jeff Beavers of Mount Holly, is a member of Future Farmers of America and studies automotive service technology at South Arkansas Community College. He plans to enter the workforce after graduation. Brayden Belt, son of Stephanie and Adam Belt of Lawson, plays percussion for the Smackover High School band. He

attends the First Baptist Church in Smackover. Belt plans to attend Southern Arkansas University Tech and major in multimedia arts.

Justin Berry, son of Shannon and Thomas Berry of El Dorado, has been awarded the Arkansas Academic Challenge scholarshi­p ($4,500) and the Presidenti­al Excellence award. He is an Arkansas Scholar and E-Week Champion and will graduate on the honor roll and merit list. He is a member of the science club, Future Farmers of America, Mu Alpha Theta, the French Honor Society, the E-Week team, French Club and Beta Club. He attends El Dorado First Assembly of God, volunteers at Hope in Action and is a staff member at OMRA. Berry plans to attend the University of Arkansas and major in mechanical engineerin­g. Alison Billings, daughter of Ruby Billings of Smackover, Ark. and Robert Billings Sr. of Fort Worth, Texas, has been awarded the University Enrichment Scholarshi­p ($2,000) and the Arkansas Academic Challenge scholarshi­p ($4,500). She is a member of the science club, the National Honor Society, the Spanish National Honor Society, Future Health Profession­als and Mu Alpha Theta. She volunteers for the Salvation Army and Goodwill and contribute­d to Hurricane

Harvey relief efforts. Billings plans to attend the University of Arkansas at Fayettevil­le and major in communicat­ion. Zoe Bradley, daughter of Brenda and Brandon Bradley of Smackover, plans to attend Henderson State University and major in art. Courtny Bridges,

daughter of Janet Bridges of Sterling, Illinois, and Greg Bridges of El Dorado, has been awarded the Southern Arkansas University Blue and Gold scholarshi­p ($3,300); Arkansas Academic Challenge scholarshi­p ($4,500); and a Principal’s Award at Smackover High School. She is the clarinet section leader in the Smackover High School band, having earned all-region since 2016, and is the Color Guard Captain. She is a member of the Anchor Club, Band, Color Guard, Mu Alpha Theta, the English National Honor Society, Science club, Yearbook club and the National Honor Society. Bridges plans to attend Southern Arkansas University and major in biochemist­ry. She is a member of the Color Guard, the National Honors Society, the Spanish National Honors Society, Literati, Mu Alpha Theta, Anchor Club and the Gifted and Talented program. She attends First Apostolic Church of Smackover, where she is a Sunday school teacher and musician and vocalist. Butler plans to attend Henderson State University and major in biochemist­ry. son of Nancy Crew of Smackover, plans to enter the workforce as a welder after graduation. Blake Doherty, son of Judy and Kenneth Doherty of Louann, Arkansas, is a member of the bass fishing team and Future Farmer of America. He plans to attend the Arkansas Elite Welding Academy to study welding after graduation. Precious Dorman,

daughter of Griselda Dorman of El Dorado, has been awarded the Arkansas Academic Challenge scholarshi­p and a University of Central Arkansas Academic scholarshi­p. She is the varsity tennis captain and placed third in district singles. She also plays for the Lady Buck basketball team, which placed third in district and conference finals. She serves as president of Future Business Leaders of America, Secretary of Literati and is an Officer for the Science club. She is also a member of the Spanish Club, National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta and the Spanish National Honor Society. She attends Hopewell Baptist Church. Dorman plans to attend the University of Central Arkansas and major in business. Cauy Easley, son of Stephanie Easley of Smackover, and Eric Easley of Camden, has been awarded the Arkansas Academic Challenge scholarshi­p ($4,500). He is a member of the football team, Spanish Club, Mu Alpha Theta and the National Honor Society. He attends Smackover First Baptist church. Easley plans to attend South Arkansas Community College and major in business. Priscila Espinosa,

daughter of Veronica and Alfonso Espinosa of El Dorado, has been awarded the Southern Arkansas University Achievemen­t Award ($1,000 per year). She is a member of choir, the National Honor Society, the English National Honor Society, the Spanish National Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta. Espinosa plans to attend Southern Arkansas University

and major in English. Anna Evans, daughter of Jennifer and Carl Evans of Mount Holly, is a member of the trap shooting team. Tucker Evans, son of Terri and Bud Evans of Norphlet, Ark., is a pitcher and right fielder for the varsity Buckaroo baseball team. He attends United Methodist Church in Norphlet. Evans plans to attend South Arkansas Community College and major in their PTA program. He also plans to attend lumber grading school to study lumber grading.

Sky Faust, daughter of the late Scott Faust and related to Margaret Bird of Calion, is the flagline co-captain. She is also a member of Band, Science club, Spanish club, Mu Alpha Theta, the English National Honor Society, the Spanish National Honor Society and the National Honor Society. Faust plans to attend South Arkansas Community College and major in nursing.

Emory Fleming, son of Joede and Eric Fleming, is a member of Future Business Leaders of America, Literati, the Spanish National Honor Society and the National Honor Society. He attends First Baptist Church of Smackover. Fleming plans to join the United States Air Force upon graduation.

Lexi Gilbert, daughter of Jamie and Larry Preston of Smackover, and Glenn and Shelly Gilbert of Camden, has been awarded softball scholarshi­ps totaling $500. She is a varsity catcher for the Lady Bucks softball team and an all-state and state conference runner-up on the golf team. She is a member of the Spanish club, the Art club, Anchor Club, the National Honor Society, Literati, the Spanish National Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta. She attends Trinity Missionary Baptist Church. Gilbert plans to attend North Arkansas Community College and major in nursing. Hunter Goocher, son of Rachelle and Chris Clark and Paul and Jennifer Goocher, is a varsity track runner and plays center for the varsity Buckaroo basketball team. He attends the First Baptist Church of Smackover. Goocher plans to join the United States Army upon graduation. Kaitlyn Goodwin,

daughter of Kelly and Damon Goodwin of Norphlet, has been awarded the South Arkansas Community College Freshman Recognitio­n Scholarshi­p, which will cover half of her tuition. She is a Lady Bucks track team member and a state runner-up Lady Bucks golf player. She is also the captain of the Lady Bucks basketball team, where she plays in the forward position. She is a member of the National Honor Society, Literati, Mu Alpha Theta, the Spanish National Honor Society, the Art club, Anchor Club, Beta Club and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. She was Smackover High School’s Homecoming Queen this year. She attends Norphlet First Baptist Church, where she is a Christian Youth Basketball League coach. Goodwin plans to attend South Arkansas Community College and major in health sciences. Haleigh Gottberg,

daughter of Ashley Gottberg of Smackover, has been awarded the Southern Arkansas University Achievemen­t Scholarshi­p ($1,000 per semester). She is the featured twirler for the Smackover High School band, serves as the senior class reporter and is a member of Future Farmers of America. She attends Bethesda Presbyteri­an Church. Gottberg plans to attend Southern Arkansas University. Jeremiah Gulley,

grandson of Sandra and Warren Hicks of Smackover, plans to enter the workforce after graduation. Tristin Gulley, son of Rebecca Gulley of Magnolia, and James Gulley of Fordyce, plans to enter the workforce after graduation. Aubrey Hargett, daughter of Shelley and Richard Hargett of El Dorado, has been awarded the Arkansas State University Leadership scholarshi­p ($8,220 per year). She is a member of the Smackover Battlin’ Buckaroo Marching Band, the Smackover Jazz Band, Science club, the National Honor Society, the English National Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta. She also serves as Quiz Bowl Team captain. She attends Green Grove Chapel. Hargett plans to attend Arkansas State University and major in plant and soil science. Kenneth Henry, son of Carolyn Henry of Smackover, and Kenny Henry of El Dorado, and related to Willie Goodwin of Smackover, is a member of the Smackover High track team. He attends Snow Hill Baptist Church, where he plays drums. Henry plans to attend Southern Arkansas University and major in criminolog­y. Pedro Hernandez, son of Yolanda and Pedro Hernandez Sr. of El Dorado, is a member of Future Farmers of America. He plans to enter the workforce after graduation. Cameron Hicks, son of Chanel and Jamey Hicks of Calion, plans to enter the workforce after graduation. Christophe­r Hopper,

son of Lisa and David Hopper of Smackover, plays football for the Battlin’ Buckaroos. He attends Ebenezer Baptist Church. Hopper plans to attend Southern Arkansas University.

Taylor Jackson, daughter of Jennifer and Gerrod Johnson and Antwain Jackson of El Dorado, is a member of the Spanish club. She attends St. John Missionary Baptist Church. Jackson plans to attend the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and major in nursing.

Zach Lawrence, son of Dana Daniels of Calion, and Joey Lawrence of El Dorado, is a Concert Choir singer and a member of the Gifted and Talented program. He attends First Baptist Church. Ricki Lewis, daughter of Angie Lewis of Smackover, plans to attend Southern Arkansas University and major in biology. Keleeon Lios, son of Jimmy Lios of Smackover, was the winnder of the South Arkansas Welding Competitio­n and won fourth in the Arkansas Elite Welding Academy competitio­n with winnings totaling $1,750. He is the shooting guard for the Battlin’ Buckaroo basketball team. He attends Maple Avenue Baptist Church. Lios plans to attend South Arkansas Community College to study welding. Sara Livingston,

daughter of Kathy and Eddie Roberts of Smackover, has been awarded the Southern Arkansas University Tech Merit scholarshi­p. She plans to attend Southern Arkansas University Tech and major in business administra­tion.

Bryce Lockhart, son of Kristi and Tony Lockhart of El Dorado, has been awarded the Southern Arkansas University Blue and Gold scholarshi­p ($3,300 per semester). He is the Battlin’ Buckaroo football team quarterbac­k and safety and is a point guard on the Buckaroo basketball team. He is a member of Future Farmers of America and the Gifted and Talented program. Lockhart plans to attend Southern Arkansas University and major in engineerin­g. Noah Loggins, son of Kristin Loggins of Hayesville, Kansas, And Steven Loggins of Cleveland, California, is a member of the Smackover High School Band, the Spanish National Honor Society and the Literati. He served as a Boy Scouts of America senior patrol leader this year. He attends the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Marlon O’Guinn Jr., son of Bernadette and Marlon O’Guinn Sr. of Norphlet, is a member of the concert marching band and the jazz band. He plans to attend Grambling State University.

daughter of Aprile and Ricky Richardson of Smackover, has been awarded the AAA Interschol­astic Star scholarshi­p ($1,000); the Arkansas Academic Challenge scholarshi­p; the AXA Achievemen­t scholarshi­p ($2,500); and the Debra McMaster Tournament scholarshi­p ($500). She is a Wendy’s Heisman State Finalist and was the Smackover High School Homecoming Maid of Honor. She is a member of the state runner-up golf team and plays shortstop for the varsity Lady Bucks softball team. She serves as president of her senior class, president of Student Council and a Fellowship of Christian Athletes huddle leader. She is a member of Literati, the National Honor Society, the French National Honor Society, Anchor Club, the Gifted and Talented program and Mu Alpha Theta. She attends the First Baptist Church of Smackover and volunteers at nursing homes, HOPE Landing and Arkansas Childrens Hospital. English National Honor Society, Spanish National Honor Society and National Honor Society.

Courtney Smith, daughter of Sylvia and Lenwood Cole of Smackover, plans to attend SouthArk and major in nursing. She is a member of band and FFA. She sings in the choir, is an usher and Bread of Life member at her church.

Jackson Stepp is the son of Linda Smith of Noble, Oklahoma, Gregg Stepp of St. Petersburg, Florida, with guardian Brigitte Olson of Smackover. He enlisted in the United States Army on May 10, 2017. He is a member of the Explorers Program Johnson Police Department and FEMA Community Emergency Response Team.

Zakiyah Teasley, daughter of Porsha Teasley of Iowa and Fred Sims of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, plans to enlist in the military after graduation. She is a center and power forward position varsity basketball player and is a member of HOSA and takes care of animals.

Armoni Thompson, child of Theresa Timmons and Shannon Thompson of El Dorado, plans to enlist in the military after graduation.

Christella Morgan Wells is the daughter of Jennifer McCarty of Arkansas City and Timothy Wells of Smackover with guardian Rebecca Gulley of Magnolia. She plans to attend SAU and major in agricultur­al science.

Da’Marous White, whose parents are from El Dorado, plans to attend Tyler Texas College and major in coaching. He is a football running back and received All-State and All-Conference awards. He attends Ebenezer Baptist Church.

George Williams, son of Belinda and George Williams of Smackover, plans to attend the University of Arkansas and major in pre-dentistry. He has received the Arkansas Academic Challenge ($4,500) and Razorback Bridge Scholarshi­p ($3,500). He is a varsity football player as a slot receiver and safety corner and a varsity track student who runs 100m run, 200m run and pole volt. He is a member of Mu Alpha Theta, National Honor Society, Science Club, Spanish National Society and a Literati. He attends Shady Grove Baptist Church, where he plays the drums.
