College among plans for Strong seniors

Co-valedictorian and honor student Tyson Pace, son of Krystal and Robert Pace of Strong, plans to attend SouthArk and major in nursing. He has been awarded the Arkansas Academic Challenge ($4,500) and valedictorian and salutatorian full tuition scholarship. Ra’Veon Ward, daughter of Sharee Ward and Thomas Ward Jr. of Strong, plans to attend SACC and major in nursing. She has accepted the Arkansas Academic Challenge ($4,500) and valedictorian and salutatorian tuition scholarship. She is varsity cheerleader captain, softball captain and a basketball player. She is a member of BETA Club, FBLA, student government and attends Curry Chapel AME Church.
Salutatorian and honor student Keyuanna Shelton, daughter of Kimberly Shelton of Strong and Derrick Shelton of California, plans to attend SouthAk and major in nursing. She is a member of Senior High basketball,
Senior High cheerleader, FBLA, BETA Club, student government and yearbook. Honor graduate Shannon Dopson,
daughter of Tammy and Timothy Dopson of Huttig, plans to major in BSN. She is the president of FBLA, vice president of BETA Club and a member of Quiz Bowl. She is a second base and right field softball player and attends First Southern Baptist Church. Honor graduate Justin Roberts, son of Trice Roberts of Strong, Bobby Roberts of Alexandria with guardian Nancy Daniels of Strong, plans to attend SouthArk and major in psychology. He is a varsity cheerleader, a member of the Gifted & Talented, FBLA and yearbook.
Honor graduate Alexizandra Morris, daughter of Kristie Morgan of Strong and Kenyuan Morris of Little Rock, plans to major in Elementary Education. She is a senior high cheerleader and a member of BETA Club, GT, FBLA and is on the Yearbook Committee. Honor graduate Edneisha Cooper, daughter of Mashell McHenry of Strong and Edward Cooper of Greenville, Mississippi, plans to attend college at Northwestern CC Sentobia, MS, and major in radiology. She is an honor graduate and in the top 10 percent of her class with a 3.8 GPA. She accepted a leadership award and is an honor roll student. son of Maria Nunez and Miguel Correa of Huttig, plans to attend SouthArk and major in welding tech. He is a varsity football player. JeDarius Dixon, son of Quinta Amare of El Dorado and Jerome Dixon of Strong, plans to attend college at Central Baptist and major in business. Tyrese Rogers, son of Markita Rogers and Curtis Reynolds of Strong, plans to enter the workforce after graduation. He is a tackle, guard and kicker in football, center in basketball and is on the track team. He is a member of FBLA and Curry Chapel AME Church. Amaya Smith, daughter of Tawanna Smith and Freddie Robinson of Strong, plans to enlist in the U.S. Air Force after graduation. She is a small forward basketball player and a member of FBLA.
Treyuan Smith, son of Leslie Miller of Strong and Kenya Smith of El Dorado, plans to attend Henderson State University and major in business. He has been awarded a full athletic academic scholarship to Henderson State University. He is All Conference and All Area and attends Free Hope AME. Lavonte Washington, son of Jakiea Washington of El Dorado and Marchello White of Strong, plans to enroll in a technical school with an apprenticeship program on welding. He is a tight end football player and attends Curry Chapel AME Church. Marshay Wayne,
daughter of Rachell Gatson and Marcus Wayne of Strong, plans to attend Pulaski Tech and major in radiology. She also plans to enroll in a CNA at SouthArk. She attends New Jerusalem Christian Ministry.
Chaundre White, son of Kimbelle Ford of Little Rock and Terrance White of Strong, plans to attend Lyon’s College and major in sports medicine. He is an honor roll student with a 3.4 GPA, plays football as a defensive end and offensive tackle and runs track. He is a member of the FBLA and attends Pleasant Hill AME Church.
