A memorial ceremony for Rhonda Lee Reeves will be held at 11 a.m. today at Young’s Funeral Directors and interment with her parents in a private ceremony following the memorial service. The family will receive friends an hour prior to services.

Datrina L. General was born Dec. 15, 1981, to Leona Browning and Herman Thurman. At an early age, she joined fellowship Baptist Church and later joined Bouldware Temple under Superinten­dent Kelly Owens.

Datrina passed on Friday,

May 18, 2018. She preceded in death by her father, Herman Thurman; her brothers, Raymond Miller,

Grady Browning and Paul Browning; a sister, Annie Anderson; her grandmothe­r, Nora Miller; uncles,

Pete Miller, Jr., and Auther

Miller; aunts, Gladys Henry and Joyce Henry.

She is survived by brothers, Alvin Miller and Herman Thurman Jr., both of El Dorado, and Larry Miller (Carla) of Dallas, Texas; sisters, Pearlene Williams (Jerry), Teresa Browning, Erica Browning, and Puttie Waller (Marcus) all of El Dorado; uncles, Anderson Miller and Desmond Miller both of El Dorado.

Open visitation will be Friday, May 25, 2018 from 11 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. at Sims Mortuary. The family hour will be Friday, May 25, 2018 from 6 until 7:00 p.m. at Shady Grove Baptist Church. Funeral services Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. at Shady Grove Baptist Church with Superinten­dent Kelly Owens, officiatin­g. CLARENCE WOODS SR.

Clarence Woods, Sr. was born on June 6, 1927 in El Dorado to Garland Woods and Lestine Williams. On May 17, 2018, he quietly and peacefully slipped away to be with the Lord.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife: Ebbie “Fannie” Woods and his great grandson: Braiden Daniels.

Clarence Woods married Ebbie Ree Bowman on February 17, 1947. To this union, six children were born. They renewed their vows in February 1997 to honor their fifty years of marriage. On February 17, 2008 they celebrated 61 years of marriage. Ebbie passed on July 26, 2008.

Clarence “Daddy Dub” was an active member of

New Olive Branch Baptist Church, where he served as a member of the Usher Ministry and the Men’s Sunday School Class. In the 1970’s he received the Jaycees Outstandin­g Physical Fitness Award in recognitio­n of his work with local youth in baseball programs.

Daddy Dub was employed for many years at Reed’s Body Shop and retired in 1989. He also worked for Ken’s Discount Building Materials by building storage rooms until 2016. He loved to hunt and fish and spend time with his family. He also had a passion for baseball, whether watching or coaching.

His celebratio­n of life will be remembered by his children: Ola(Cliff) Johnson of Tulsa, Ok., Rev. Clarence (Jacqueline) Woods, Jr. of Houston, Texas, Pau l(Cassandra) Woods, Timothy (Deborah) Woods & Mark (Erica) Woods all of Little Rock and Larry Woods of El Dorado, a niece raised as a daughter, Dorothy (Norris) Ford of El Dorado; brother: Ralph (Carol) Woods of El Dorado; sister in law: Ellen Jackson of El Dorado, and 18 grandchild­ren and 24 great grandchild­ren.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 26 at New Olive Branch Baptist Church with the Rev. Clarence Woods, Jr. officiatin­g. Burial will follow in Arlington Cemetery under the direction of Andrews Funeral Home.

Viewing will be 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. on Saturday at Andrews. Mr.Woods will be placed in the church at 10 a.m. on Saturday for viewing until service time. There will be no viewing after the service.
