A war to end all wars Sent sons and daughters brave To Verdun and Flanders’s Field Thru the Argonne & Dardanelle­s to save. Pearl shocked the heart of America Normandy, Bastogne, Berlin

From sea to shining sea

Midway, Okinawa, Hiroshima did end. Korea fought the Parallel Kaesong & Seoul and next Vietnam Hanoi to DaNang and Hamburger Hill This war never solved with calm. Defenders continue to be born

At 20 yrs most families morn

The Persian Gulf and desert sand What’s next after Iraq, Afghanista­n? Thank you soldiers, seaman, marines And those who fly the blue

Your death for us the USA

Will always be honored true. Thirty-five wars span our breath

1.3 million lives lay in death

Love, Faith, Courage—all three Mark the sacrifice made to make us free!
