Horace James “Little Man” Deason, 93, of Mt. Holly passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at Hudson Memorial Nursing Home.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Bethel Cemetery, Highway 57, Mt. Holly, under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors with the Rev. Larry Goza officiating.
Visitation will be held Friday, June 1, 2018 from 5 until 7 p.m. at Young’s.

Obituaries MATTIE B. OLIVER
Mattie Bell Oliver, 92, of El Dorado departed this life on Sunday, May 27, 2018 at her home. She was born on Sept. 8, 1925 in Farmerville, Louisiana. She was the daughter of George Glover and Alice Lord Glover.
She was a faithful member of United Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Lee Oliver; two sisters, Willie Mae Willis and Ruby Baxter and one brother, John Henry
Glover. Survivors are; a special niece, Clara (Michael)
White of El Dorado and a host of other relatives.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday,
June 1, 2018 at United Missionary Baptist Church with Dr. Paul Rainey officiating. Burial will follow in Beulah Grove Cemetery on Parnell Road under the direction of Andrews Funeral Home.
