RSVP Dance featuring William & Friends to be held Friday
The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program is holding at RSVP Dance for ages 55 and older from 7-10 p.m. Friday at Champagnolle Landing Senior Center, 910 E. 4th St., El Dorado.
William & Friends will perform. Admission is $6 per person. Smoking and alcohol is prohibited.
Pine Hills Country Club 1 Person Scramble set for June 9-10
The Pine Hills Country Club will have a 1 Person Scramble on June 9-10. Entry fee is $75 per person.
Practice Round will be held June 8, Tee Off will be at 1 p.m. June 9-10 and a meal will be served on the night of June 9. Two balls can be hit on every shot and play either ball on June 9. On June 10, is a second ball is hit, it must be played. The scramble will be held at Highway 67 North of Smackover. To sign up or get more information, call the Pro Shop at 870-725-2371.
‘Purse Raffle’ tickets being sold for Power of the Purse event
Raffle tickets are being sold for a chance to win a Michael Kors tote at the annual Power of the Purse event at 6 p.m. June 7 at the Granite Club.
Raffle tickets are $5 per chance and event tickets are $35 through today and $40 starting Friday. All proceeds benefit the Union County Dolly Parton Imagination Library. The event will include a silent auction, fashion show, heavy hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar and entertainment by Amy Allen.

El Dorado Country Club Oil Belt 2-Person Scramble set for June 22-24
The El Dorado Country Club is having their Oil Belt 2-Person Scramble on June 22-24.
On June 22, free access to the pool will be given during the weekend for the immediate family of all players. At 8 a.m., practice rounds will begin. At 6 p.m., skills contest will begin.
On June 23, breakfast will be served at 8 a.m. with the shotgun start round at 9 a.m., a fajita bar lunch at 1:30 p.m. and calcutta at 2:30 p.m. On June 24, grab and go lunch will be at noon, shotgun start round 2 will be at 1 p.m. and awards will be presented at 6 p.m.
Tournament Entry Fee for member teams is $250 (only one partner needs to be a member), and $300 for guest teams. The field is limited to 48 teams. Each player will receive a $20 spending credit at Palmer’s Place at El Dorado Golf & Country Club. Each participant will receive one free round of golf at EDGCC to use anytime during the 2018 season.
