Enjoying the holiday weekend with family.

Ihope everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend and remembered the reason for this holiday.

Don't take for granted the freedoms that you have because many men and women paid the ultimate price.

Cooper and I spent time with family and friends while Cage had to work most of the weekend and Monday.

I hated he had to work but Cooper understood why daddy had to be gone.

Cooper enjoyed some fun with his friend Cody on Saturday afternoon. A slip and slide and a wading pool were quality entertainment for them until time to eat.

Monday morning, I drove to town to pick up my grandpa so he could join us at my parents house for a barbecue and visiting.

Cooper was looking forward to jumping in the pool the whole morning before we ate.

I told him pool time would come after lunch so he would have to wait because the water was still warming up.

After a good meal, I got ready for an afternoon in the pool with Cooper.

After a good coating of sunblock, he was ready to swim.

I spent most of my time on a float watching him play ring toss and basketball on his floating pool toy.

He likes playing with his snorkel gear as well and has shown a great improvement on his swimming.

Cooper was also blessed with losing his second tooth last week. Our little man is growing so fast!

Cooper spent Tuesday with his pappaw while we were working and he told me all about his adventures he had.

He rode his four-wheeler, found huckleberries and he ate as many as he could find.

He also enjoyed some more pool time and told me he wanted me to swim with him this weekend.
