SouthArk offices shift locations

Several offices on the West Campus of South Arkansas Community College have relocated to help cope after the April fire in the Administra­tion Building.

The offices of the president and institutio­nal research are located in Health Science Center Suite 306. The health science dean’s office has been moved to Health Science 180 and 182.

The office of marketing and communicat­ions has been moved to Whitfield Building 229 and 238. The office of academic affairs has been moved to Whitfield Building 118.

The business office has been moved to the former location of the Arkansas Women’s Business Center at 404 S. West Ave. The Arkansas Women’s Business Center, meanwhile, has been relocated to the former site of EDIE’s Village, 305 E. Cedar St.

The office of human resources has been moved to Computer Technology Building 104 and 105. The office of the vice president of finance and administra­tion has been moved to the former University Center inside that building.

The office of the SouthArk Foundation has been relocated to Library 130 and 131.

Barton Library kicks off Summer Reading Program

The Barton Public Library has kicked off its Summer Reading Program, with registrati­on being held this week.

The program is available for those ages 5 and up and runs from June 12 through July 26. This year’s theme is “Libraries Rock.”

Sessions will be held from 2-3 p.m. on Tuesdays through Thursdays.
