Ward 4 Cleanup
will be held from 8-11 a.m. today. Volunteers are asked to meet at Old City Park for a briefing and to pick up supplies before fanning out into the ward to clean up. Volunteers will return to Old City Park for lunch afterwards.
Walk with a Doc
will be at 9 a.m. today at the Memorial Stadium in El Dorado. Walk with a Doc is a walking program for everyone interested in taking steps for a healthier lifestyle.
The 50th anniversary celebration of Camp De Soto
will be held from 10 a.m. until the last ember burns out today at 174 Camp Desoto Road.
A Bikers Against Child Abuse Awareness Rally
will be held today at the Union County Fairgrounds. Gates open at 9 a.m. The rally will include live music, an antique car show, a Dice run and free kids activities provided by the Children’s Advocacy Center of South Arkansas.
Summer Concert Series and Showdown at Sunset
will be from 6 until 11 p.m. today in downtown El Dorado. The Showdown will be at 6 p.m. on the Union County Courthouse steps, while the concert series will kick off at 7 p.m. with New Cupid at the Murphy Arts District Amphitheater.
Downtown Sizzlin Steak-Off
will be held today in Downtown El Dorado on Elm Street and Jefferson Street.
