To the Editor:

President Trump and Jeff Sessions are like Scrooge and Marley. The zero tolerance and putting the immigrant children in cages like animals. Laura Bush, Rosalyn Carter, Hillary Clinton and Michelle Obama said it was inhumane. It’s as bad when Scrooge said “Are there no prisons? And the Union workhouses?” Those that are bad enough should go there. If they would rather die, they had better do it and decrease the surplus population. The spirit of Christmas Present used these words against Scrooge, to show him how he was coming across. Sessions was using the Bible to justify the means of this law. He was saying the Bible says we should live by the law of the land. That is pure blasphemy. God would not want children in cages separated from their parents or guardians. It’s time to clean house in Washington, D.C. In 2020, I would like to see Chuck Schumer or Tim Kaine run for president. At least they would have a heart. If I ran for president, I would put Schumer on the ticket as my vice president. Let’s free those pure children and let them be reunited with their families.
