Notice of Passing GLENDA S. MARSHALL
Glenda S. Marshall, 62, of El Dorado passed away Thursday, June 28, 2018 at her residence.
Visitation will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. Sunday, July 1, 2018 at Young’s.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 2, 2018 in Young’s Chapel. Burial will follow at Pilgrim’s Rest Cemetery in Spearsville, Louisiana under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

Funeral service for Evorn Lockett, 92, of El Dorado will be held at 2:30 p.m. today at Douglas Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with Dr. D.L. Hegler officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery in Summerfield, Louisiana under the direction of Andrews Funeral Home. Public viewing will be from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. today.

Memorial services for Ronald Keith “Ronnie” Pipkin, 72, will be held at 3 p.m. today at St. Mark United Methodist Church with the Rev. Winston Roden officiating. The family will receive guest beginning at 2 p.m. until service time at the church. A private interment will be held at a later date at Arlington Memorial Park.

Funeral for Mildred Shults of Jacksonville, formerly of Smackover, will be held at 11 a.m. today at First Baptist Church in Smackover with the Rev. Calvin Carroll officiating. Burial will follow in Sweet Canaan Cemetery under the direction of Andrews Funeral Home. There will be no public viewing at the funeral home.
MARION B. WATLEY
Funeral for Marion B. Watley, 89, will be held at 11 a.m. today at the New Hopewell Baptist Church in Bernice, Louisiana, with the Rev. Greg Williams as pastor/officiant. Before the service, at 10:30 a.m. the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority will perform a memorial ceremony. Interment will follow at the New Hopewell Cemetery.

Obituaries LANEY JONES
Laney Jones, 47, of Hampton entered Heaven on Wednesday, June 27, 2018.
Born on Feb. 19, 1971 in Hampton, he was a son of the late Kenneth Jones of Hampton and Linda Jones of Hampton.
Laney was a 1989 graduate of Hampton High School and was employed by Z & E Trucking in North Little Rock.
Laney is survived by his mother, Linda Jones of Hampton; one son, Zac Jones of Harrell; and a brother, Ken Jones and his wife, Evelyn of El Dorado.
Laney is also preceded in death by his grandparents, Herman and Dorothy Nowlin of Hampton and Howard and Lola Mae Jones of Warren.
Laney was a member of Victory Church of Camden.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Hampton First Assembly of God with the Rev. Jerry Dale Ables, the Rev. Rickey Smith, and the Rev. Mike Nutt officiating.
