The Hannah Pregnancy Resource Center has over 200 donated items for the “Christmas in July” auction.

Bidding for the online auction will begin at 8 a.m. Monday and end at 8 a.m. July 23.

The Hannah Pregnancy Resource Center is a 501(c)3 nonprofit, faithbased organization that offers services to those facing pregnancy decisions.

The center, which has locations in El Dorado, Camden and Magnolia, accepted donations from businesses in all three cities.

Paula Williams, Hannah Pregnancy Resource Center’s resource development coordinator, said the proceeds from the auction will go directly back into the centers.

“Our whole budget is off of donations from churches, individuals or any fundraisers that we have, plus some grants,” she said. “We don’t receive any funding other than that. All of the work that we do through these fundraisers goes back into the center to help our centers stay open.”

Donated items for the auction include gift cards for businesses and restaurants, purses, tools, car detailing, family photography sessions and many other items.

“The prices range from $10 to $1,200,” Williams said. “There’s something in there to fit anybody’s budget.”

The auction will go live at 8 a.m. Monday, and the agency’s website, hannahprc.com, will have a link to take bidders to the auction page, titled “Hannah Auction.”

“You won’t be able to see anything until 8 a.m. (Monday),” she said. “At 8 a.m. on July 23, the bidding ends and the (auction) website will lock.”

The person with the highest bid at 8 a.m. July 23 will win the item. When someone bids on an item, the site will ask for an email address, and the winner of each item will receive an email notification.

Auction winners in El Dorado will be able to pick up their items after the auction is closed at the Hannah Pregnancy Center in El Dorado, 101 W. Main St., Suite 201. The office is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

The Camden center will have a pickup site located at Cullendale Assembly of God, 3250 Cash Road, on Wednesdays beginning July 25 through the end of August, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the church’s office.

Magnolia winners will be able to pick up their items at the Hannah Pregnancy Resource Center at 216 W. Union on Thursdays, beginning July 26 through the end of August from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Williams said the center is urging winning bidders to pay online through their website.

“Especially for the ones in Camden and Magnolia,” she said. “It will be easier for pick up if they’ve already paid.”
