Veterans of Foreign Wars Annual Pea Dinner to be held Sunday

The Annual Purple Hull Pea Dinner is scheduled for 1 p.m. Sunday at Post 2413 on Industrial Road in El Dorado.

All VFW members and their guests are welcome.

Meet Me at the Court to sponsor Baskets of Love

Meet Me at the Court Youth will sponsor its monthly mission project at 2 p.m. Saturday by delivering Baskets of Love (fruit baskets) to senior citizens in the community.

MMCY members will decorate the baskets and include a favorite Biblical scripture.

Youth captains will be Joseph Brice, Damijjio Heard and Kristina Heard.
