City Arrests:

• Eric Q. McGuire, 49, of, 119 Sunnyside, was arrested July 11 on a Lincoln Parish, Louisiana, warrant for aggravated burglary. McGuire was scheduled for an extraditio­n hearing Friday in 35th Judicial District Court.

• Kadonna C. Gray, 35, of 1301 W. First, Apt. 99, was arrested July 10 on a Texarkana, Texas, warrant for burglary of a building.

• Jermaine D. Samuels, 38, of 1302 Louisiana, was arrested July 10 for possession of crack cocaine, possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance and a warrant for two counts of delivery of cocaine. Samuels was initially taken into custody on the warrant, and during a search incident to arrest, police said they found plastic bags containing crack cocaine and marijuana and a package of synthetic marijuana inside Samuels’s pockets.

City Reports:

• A man told police July 13 that a co-worker has issued terroristi­c threats against him and made ethnically offensive comments.

• A woman told officers July 13 that someone entered her vehicle at her residence in the 100 block of North Merle and stole her purse, which contained $100 cash, several credit cards and health insurance cards. The woman said the front passenger door was ajar and the suspect(s) had rifled through the glove compartmen­t.

• An employee of the SHARE Foundation, 403 W. Oak., Suite 100, reported July 11 the theft of a leaf blower from the bed of his pickup truck. The employee said he briefly went inside the SHARE office, and when he returned, he noticed that the leaf blower was missing.

• A man told police July 11 that someone entered his vehicle at his residence in the 1500 block of West Faulkner and stole $30 cash and two rangefinde­rs.

• A woman told police July 11 that someone entered her vehicle at a residence in the 1100 block of West Main and stole a duffle bag, which contained a pair of tap dance shoes and her purse with debit and credit cards, a driver’s license and two sets of keys. The woman later told police that she found the duffel bag near the intersecti­on of Cedar and Yocum and the purse just south of the residence near Yocum Primary School on West Cedar. She said the tap shoes were still missing.

• Police responded July 11 to a report of a residentia­l burglary in the 500 block of Ondo Lane. A woman told police the suspect(s) took a “green Army bag” containing several collectibl­e items, including two Dwight D. Eisenhower silverdoll­ar coins; six John F. Kennedy, half-dollar coins; seven Susan B. Anthony gold-dollar coins; a dollar bill and several silver and bronze coins, all souvenirs from England; a black-and-white Mickey Mouse DVD; and a pink wallet containing credit cards and a passport. The woman said there were no signs of forced entry into the residence and she provided informatio­n about a possible suspect.

• A woman told officers July 10 that her boyfriend has recently made several terroristi­c threats against her.

• On July 10, a man reported that someone broke into the garage at his residence in the 400 block of Hathaway and stole a drill and air tank. A witness reported seeing two males exit a black, four-door truck, walk to the back of the complainan­t’s residence and then get back inside the truck. The witness was unable to see if the males were carrying any items when they returned to the truck, according to a police report.

• A woman told police July 10 that someone entered her vehicle at her residence in the 900 block of North Euclid and stole her wallet, which contained $30 cash, six credit cards, a Social Security card, health insurance card and a fuel card. She said the theft occurred when she briefly went inside the residence.

• A man reported July 8 the theft of his passport and immigratio­n documents from his work truck, which was parked at his residence in the 100 block of Omega. He identified a possible suspect.

• A woman told police July 9 that someone entered her vehicle and stole her driver’s license and Certified Nursing Assistant license.

• On July 7, a woman reported a burglary at a residence in the 700 block of North Yocum. The woman no items were stolen and she found a used condom inside the residence. She said several burglaries have recently occurred at the residence and air conditione­rs were previously stolen.

• A man reported July 8 the theft of his truck, a red 2002 Toyota Four Runner, which was parked at Hill Oil Company, 1320 Molnaird Park Ave.

• An employee of New Bern Transport Corporatio­n-PepsiCo told police July 6 that someone stole a company palm pilot and cellphone, three packages of cigarettes and a lighter from his work truck at Dollar General, 1523 E. Main.

• A woman told police on July 6 that someone broke into her vehicle at her residence in the 800 block of Marsh. No items were reported missing. The woman said the vehicle was ransacked.

• A man reorted July 6 that someone broke into his vehicle at his residence in the 600 block of West Cook and stole a bag that contained $50 cash, change that was in coin wrappers and a blank check from the ELK Gusher Lodge Bingo account.
