Notice of Passing WILLIE F. DANIELS

Willie F. Daniels, of Magnolia, passed away on Monday, Aug. 13, 2018 at his residence in Magnolia.

Funeral services are pending with Henderson’s Funeral Service of Magnolia.

William Anthony “Willie” Holt, 35, of El Dorado passed away on Aug. 12, 2018.

Visitation will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. today at Perry’s Funeral Chapels. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 16, 2018 at Perry’s Funeral Chapels followed by interment at Liberty Cemetery.

A funeral service for Kim Renee Martin Weber will be held today at 2 p.m. at Young’s Funeral Directors in El Dorado, officiated by Pastor Wayne Kelley with a eulogy provided by David Talley. Visitation will be held an hour prior. Interment will be in Champagnol­le Cemetery in El Dorado.

ANN ENGELBERGE­R

Ann Engelberge­r died in Leesburg, Virginia, on Aug. 8, 2018. She was a graduate of Havana (Yell) High School, Arkansas Tech with a Biology Degree, and Boston University with Master’s Degree in Education. While at Arkansas Tech, she was a member of Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universiti­es and was invited to the Olympic Basketball Team tryouts.

After graduating from Arkansas Tech, Ann worked as a microbiolo­gist for the Arkansas State Health Department followed by 34 years as a microbiolo­gist and environmen­tal protection specialist with the Department of Defense in three states, Germany, and the National Capitol Region where she worked at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and the Pentagon.

Ann is survived by her husband, Chuck; two sons, Charles (Kara) of Atlanta, Georgia, and John (Nancy) of Leesburg; four grandchild­ren, Karson, Logan, Clarie, and John, Jr. (J.J.); one brother, Jeff Welch of Jacksonvil­le; two sisters, Caroline (Rodney) Kestner of Fayettevil­le, and Becky (Rich) Doncer of North Little Rock. She was preceded in her death by her parents, J. D. and Evelyn Butler Welch.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church in Leesburg. Burial will be at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery.

Memorial contributi­ons may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 62 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN 38105.

Willie L. Miller was born

She was a member of Fellowship Baptist

Church.

Survivors are two daughters: Willie Mae Brown and Shellie Watson; two sons, Tom Wilson, Jr. and Hudson Meadows; two sisters, Louise Turner and Mary Jones; and one brother, Jimmy Lee Ellis.

Graveside services will be at 2:30 pm on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Lott Burgy Cemetery under the direction of Sims Mortuary. No public visitation at funeral home.

FRANK VINES

Frank “Junior” Vines, 77, of El Dorado, passed away Sunday, Aug. 12, 2018, at the Medical Center of South Arkansas.

He was born April

Ivy Gardner Vines in Hope.

He was a self-employed carpenter and a member Harmony Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death are his parents; and two brothers, David Vines and Gurvis Vines.

Survivors include his son, Dennis Gene Vines (Carla) of Junction City; two grandchild­ren, Logan Vines, Kayla Vines, one brother, Terry Vines of Fort Smith; and five sisters, Murtie Watkins of Waldo, Maifred Donahue (Bill), Glenda Jerry (Randy), Robin Farley, Brenda Wilson (Joe) all of El Dorado.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 16, 2018, in Young’s Chapel with Bro. Conner Garlington and Bro. Ricky Donahue officiatin­g. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow at Craig Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
