To the Editor:

The problems that America is having with the bromance of Trump and Putin was bought by the Republican Party. When Obama was in the White House the world witnessed the Republicans in congress doing everything they could to make it hard for Obama to be president. The Republicans did not give Obama any support on no issues or conflicts in government that he tried to solve. If Obama was for something the Republicans were against it. The Republicans stood side by side with Trump when Trump was praising Putin and disrespecting Obama (President of the USA).

When Trump called Obama weak and said Putin was stronger and better at being president than Obama the Republicans were right there with Trump praising Putin. The news media never called Trump or the Republicans out for their praise and loyalty to Putin and ridicule of Obama, our own president. If you think that is a lie go back and check the old newspapers and TV broadcasts.

Yes, the Republicans bought this Putin/Trump collusion, now they are paying for it but they did not know that it would cost America so much. You have to believe, the majority of high ranking Republicans, from the way they have tried to protect Trump, knew beforehand what Trump and Putin plans were for our 2016 election.

You know the old saying, “be careful what you wish for” Republicans. Now their hatred for Obama and love for Putin is biting them in the lower backside. The way Trump is praising Putin now, the Republicans were doing the same thing when Obama was in the White House. They showed more support and love for a dictator than they showed cooperation for our own black president. Racism in the highest form.
