Ruby F. Pierce, 63, of El Dorado passed away on Sunday, Aug. 26, 2018 at her home.

Obituaries JOSEPH L. MURPH

Joseph Leroy Murph, a son of E.C. and Elizabeth Murph, was born

July 11, 1926 in Smackover.

After receiving high school education, “Jake” as he was best known, entered the US

Army at age 18.

In the career field, Jake was employed by the Green

Bay Packaging Company in Morrilton, well known for their innovated use of recycled material for retail packing, along with Monsanto Chemical Company in El Dorado.

At the age of 92, Jake passed away Thursday, Aug. 23, 2018 in Little Rock. He was preceded in death by his father, Ennis Clifford Murph; mother, Elizabeth Mariah Baucum Murph; two sons, James M. Murph and Lester L. Murph.

Remaining immediate family are wife, Reba Hazel Duncan Murph of Oppelo; sons, Randy Murph (Karen) of Little Rock and Paul Murph (Lisa) of Spotsylvan­ia, Virginia; daughter, Cindy Strauss (Scott) of Little Rock; four grandchild­ren and one great grandchild.

Services were at 10 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 27, 2018 at First Baptist Church Oppelo and burial was in Wolfe Cemetery in Oppelo.

NEAL D. PRIMM SR.

Neal Dennis Primm Sr., age 71, of El Dorado, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at the John R. Williamson Hospice House, surrounded by family and friends. He fought a hard battle against cancer. He was born on December 24, 1946 in Beaumont, TX to the late Neal Warren Primm Sr. and Ever Jean Taylor Primm. He was an assistant manager at Smitty’s Grocery during his younger years before medical issues forced his retirement. Neal always had a warm heart and would do anything for anyone. He was a man of few words, but no one ever doubted he loved each and every friend and family member to the fullest.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Melissa Ann Primm; two brothers, Tommy Oliver Primm and Robert Alexander Primm.

Survivors include; one son, Neal Dennis Primm Jr.; one Grandson, Stormey Cruise Primm and wife Sara Elizabeth Primm; one great granddaugh­ter, Hadley Michele Primm, whom was the light of his world; one sister, Elizabeth Ann Avery and husband Glenn of Silsbee, TX; seven brothers, John Travis Primm and wife Lynn of El Dorado, Neal Warren Primm Jr. and wife Karen of Beaumont, TX, Lonnie Lee Primm and wife Susan, Author Ellis Primm and wife Lydonna, Marvin Allen Primm and wife Linda, Walter Douglas Primm, and Charles Kevin Primm and wife Ray June, all from El Dorado Arkansas. He also had many nieces and nephews all of which he loved dearly.

Visitation will be from 5:00pm until 7:00 pm on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at Bailey Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be at 10:00 am on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at Fist Assembly of God in El Dorado, with Bro Cliff Preston and Bro. Bubba Gurley officiatin­g. Burial will follow at 2:00 pm at Harmony Methodist Cemetery in Magnolia Arkansas under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of El Dorado.
