SHARE Foundation accepting requests for proposals for 2019 Grant Cycle
The SHARE Foundation is accepting requests for grant proposals for the 2019 grant cycle. The foundation has focused its grant funding on needs identified within Union County since 1996, and funding is for evidence-based programs that address crime and violence intervention and prevention in six areas as outlined in the Union County Violence Intervention Plan (VIP).
The VIP was developed based on local information gathered from sources such as Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, The Centers for Disease Control, U.S. Census Bureau, University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Arkansas Department of Health and residents of Union County.
Visit the grants tab at sharefoundation.com to view the request for proposals, suggested based strategies and outcomes, and the Grant Portal to apply. The application deadline is Oct. 5, and all questions should be directed to Debbie Watts, VP of Community Impact at 870-881-9015.
