Obituaries JANE C. FENNELL

Jane C. Fennell, 68 of El Dorado, passed away Saturday, October 6, 2018 at the John R. Williamson Hospice House surrounded by her family and friends.

She was born July 8, 1950 in Amarillo, Texas to Carl Walker and Mona Porter. Most important to Jane was spending time with her family and friends. She was an avid member of the local VFW and enjoyed spending time with such a wonderful group of friends that she called “family”. Jane was known for her sense of humor, her quick wit, hugs, and always seeing the best in others .

Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, Herman Fennell and a brother, Robert Garrett.

She is survived by her two daughters Audrey Martinius (Jimmy, Quin, and Tristan); Kasey Murphy (Emeree, Kris Auana, and Madison), great grandchild­ren (Kamery and Weslee) along with a brother, Tommy Walker of Hereford, Arizona and a sister, Linda Brown (Wayne) of Ft. Worth, Texas.

Visitation will be at Young’s Funeral Directors on Tuesday, October 9th at 1:00 p.m., followed by the memorial service at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Bob Inmon officiatin­g.

MARIE O. WILSON

Marie O. Wilson, 89, of El Dorado passed away Saturday, October 7, 2018 at Hudson Memorial Nursing Home.

Born June 14, 1929 in El Dorado, she was the daughter of James Winton and Estelle Chandler Ogden. Mrs. Wilson was a homemaker and a longtime member of Dumas Memorial United Methodist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents and a brother, J.W. Ogden and a sister, Melba Pepper.

Survivors include her husband of 70 years, Horace Gene Wilson of El Dorado and a son, Joe Ellis Wilson and wife, Sarah, of Wylie, Texas.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday, October 8, 2018 at Young’s.

Cremation services entrusted to Young’s Funeral Directors. Interment at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens will follow at a later date.
