PATRICIA N. STRINGFELLOW
Patricia Nowlin Stringfellow, 73 passed away the morning of October 21, 2018. She was born on November 30, 1944 to William C. and Eula Mae Martin Nowlin.
Preceding her in death are her parents; sister, Ima Jean Hays and brothers, W.C. Nowlin and Donnie
Nowlin.
Pat is survived by her devoted husband of 55 years, Dale Stringfellow; daughters, Becky Rainwater (Tim) and
Stacy Thurmon (Kenny) of El Dorado; sisters, Betty Howard of Arkadelphia, Rosemary Golden of Hampton, Kay McKinney of Kingsland, Martha Braswell of Hampton and a brother, Randy Nowlin of Hampton; grandchildren, Kayla Rainwater Black (Brent), Kara Rainwater and Karlee Thurmon and great-grandchildren, Adelyn Black and Ansley Black.
Pat was a devoted wife, mother and nanny. She was fondly known as “Ms. Pat” to many children that were fortunate enough to spend their early daycare years in her home. Pat loved the Lord and was an active member of Parkview Baptist Church for nearly 50 years where she participated in numerous activities including choir, teaching children’s Sunday school and VBS.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 23 from 5-7pm at Young’s Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, October 24 at Parkview Baptist Church with Rev. Lawrence Harrison and Bro. Mark Sandy officiating. Burial will follow at Pickett Cemetery near Hampton, AR.
The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff of Hudson Memorial Nursing Home along with Kindred Hospice for their wonderful care.
