Obituaries LEANN COLLIS

LeAnn Collis, 75, of El Dorado, went to be with Jesus on Sunday, October 28, 2018, at Courtyard Health and Rehabilita­tion. She was born October 16, 1943, to Harold G. and Nora Deane Curtis Wilson in Hale Center,

Texas.

She retired from the First United Methodist Church in Stuttgart, Arkansas where she worked as church secretary.

She enjoyed reading, sewing, soap operas, and was of the Catholic faith.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Eualyne Needham.

Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Joe T. Collis of El Dorado; daughter, Devyn Brakeman (Bruce) of El Dorado; sons, Troy Neeley of El Dorado, Scott Neeley (Toni) of Ft. Worth, TX; step children, Joseph Collis (Kathy) of Slaton, TX, Shari Waterman (John) of Wilmington, NC; brother, Curtis Wilson (Lela) of San Jose, CA; ten grandchild­ren; five great grandchild­ren, including one which is her namesake; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 2, 2018, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church with Father Edward D’Almeida officiatin­g. Graveside services will be held at Plainview Memorial Park in Plainview, TX at a later date. Cremation arrangemen­ts were entrusted to Young’s Funeral Directors.

TARRAH B. HENDRIX

Tarrah Barnes Hendrix, 45, of Strong passed away on October 26, 2018.

She was born on December 14, 1972 in El Dorado to Melvin and Billie Russell Barnes. Tarrah enjoyed fishing and loved all of her fur babies.
