RUBY L. WILSON
Ruby Lee McAdoo Wilson was born on October 6, 1924 in Smackover, Arkansas, the second child of Clara and Fred McAdoo. She passed into eternal life on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at the age of 94 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She is survived by her daughter, Shirley (Thomas) Browne and sons, Sylvester (Lisa) and
Leonard Wilson all of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; 15 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, a special “Brother”, James Willie
Bradford and other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles J. Wilson, her parents, a sister, Mary Lee McAdoo, grandson, Charles R. Browne and great granddaughter Johanna Browne. She was affectionately known as “Mammo” and loved to cook especially for her family. She turned this skill into her career after moving to Milwaukee in the early 1950’s. She worked at various restaurants over the years until her retirement. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her but we take great comfort in knowing that she is with her dear husband and family again.
