Alton “Pops” Massey, 82 of El Dorado, AR passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at the John R. Williams Hospice House in El Dorado. Visitation will 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Funeral services Monday Nov. 5, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bailey Funeral Home of El Dorado, AR.

Darrishica Benet’ Rodgers, 30 of North Little Rock, AR passed away on Sunday October 28, 2018 in El Dorado, AR.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Saturday November 3, 2018 at Church of Love in El Dorado. Interment will be held in Batts Chapel Cemetery in Huttig, AR.

Visitation will be held on Friday November 2, 2018 from 1:006:00 at Reddick Funeral Home in Camden.

LeAnn Collis, 75, of El Dorado, went to be with Jesus on Sunday, October 28, 2018, at Courtyard Health and Rehabilita­tion.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 2, 2018, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church with Father Edward D’Almeida officiatin­g. Graveside services will be held at Plainview Memorial Park in Plainview, TX at a later date. Cremation arrangemen­ts were entrusted to Young’s Funeral Directors.

Funeral service for Rev. James E. Wright, 78 of Calion will be held Saturday, November 3 at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, Hampton. Burial will follow at Fellowship Cemetery, Lillie, Louisiana. Public visitation will be held at Andrews Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, November 2.

John Christian was born February 22, 1971 to Joe Lewis and Emma Christian.

He was a graduate of

College with an Electrical and Electronic Certificat­e.

Worked for the

US Postal Service,

UNIF United

Natural Food Inc. and UBC United Bearing Corp. He was a self-employed as a licensed courier transport while working part time as a distributi­on sorter at Amazon.

He passed on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 and was preceded in death by his father, Joe Christian.

Survivors are his mother, Emma Christian of Strong; brother, Sammy Aaron of Arlington, TX; sisters, Mary Hill of Lancaster, TX., Pamela Christian of Little Rock, Earline Barnes of Strong, and Katyna Christian of Lewisville, TX.

Public visitation will be Friday, October 2, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at Sims Mortuary. Funeral services will be Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 2:30p.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Urbana. ARIC D. HALL

Aric D’Mon Dominique’ Hall “Baby Jordan” passed on October 27, 2018 at the age of 28. Aric is a member of St. Vestal and a 2008 graduate of El Dorado High School, Class of 2008. Aric enjoyed spending time with his family, basketball, music and traveling.

Aric is preceded in death by his great-grandmothe­r, Gretha Williams; grandparen­ts, Jim and Claudia Faye Snowden and grandfathe­r Alvin James Hall.

KENNETH WALLER

Kenneth Waller was born March 20, 1957 in El Dorado, Arkansas to Deacon L.J. and Rita Delois Brown Waller.

He was a member of New Providence Baptist Church where he served faithfully on the Usher Board, Trustee

Board, Finance Committee,

Sunday School Teacher, and ordained Deacon.

He was a 1975 graduate of El

Dorado High

School and a

1979 of Southern Arkansas University at Magnolia. He served in both the United States Army and Army Reserves. He was employed by AmerCable, and Creative Housing.

He was predecease­d by his father, and two brothers Glenn Waller and James Waller and a nephew Jamie Waller.

Survivors are his wife, Carolyn

Porchia; sons, Keith Anthony Waller and Kenneth Lamar Waller; daughters, Niki Nicole Waller and Keitha Antoinette Waller; grandsons Jeremiah King, Kashten Malone, and Caiden Waller, all of Eldorado, Arkansas; brothers, Gary Waller of Newnan, Georgia; Larry Waller of Covington, Georgia; and Michael Waller of Douglasvil­le, Georgia; and sister, Deborah Blockman of Lithonia, Georgia.

LMAE BLACKMON

Lmae Blackmon, 97, of El Dorado passed on October 26, 2018 in El Dorado, AR. She was born July 26, 1921 to Mary Johnson and Louis Jackson.

She was a former employee of Morrison & Ruby Tuesday for a number of years until her retirement. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lewis Blackmon and son, Arthur A. Blackmon.

She leaves to cherish her memory three daughters: Mary Jo Jenkins of El Dorado, AR, Rutha Blackmon-Mitchell (Raymond) and Irma T. Blackmon all of New Orleans, LA; two sons, Louis W. Blackmon and Ralph B. Blackmon both of New Orleans, LA and a host of grandchild­ren, nieces and nephews.
