El Dorado competes in swim meet

CONWAY - El Dorado’s swim teams competed Tuesday in a meet at Conway. Lorin Utsch led the Lady Wildcats with first place showings in both the 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle.

Utsch scored a time of 26.16 to win the 50 free and 57.76 in the 100 free.

Abigal Thompson was third in the 50 freestyle and fifth in the 100 breaststro­ke.

Hudson McDiarmid led the Wildcats with a firstplace finish in the 100 freestyle with a time of 52.23. McDiarmid was second in the 50 freestyle.

Payton Allman was third in the 50 freestyle and third in the 100 butterfly. Everett Gati was fourth in the 100 breaststro­ke.

The Wildcats finished third in the boys team standings, totaling 183 points. Conway won with 656 with Bryant second at 353.

Conway won the girls title with 601 over Bryant (446) and Sylvan Hills (198). The Lady Wildcats were fourth with 166.

Nevada 49, PC Sr. Girls 43

ROSSTON - Bracelynn Glover scored 20 points Thursday to lead the Lady Bluejays past the Lady Trojans. Nevada improved to 2-5 on the season with Parkers Chapel falling to 1-3.

T.K. Burson led the Lady Trojans with 17 points. She hit 3-of-6 from 3-point range and was 8-of-8 at the line. Kamryn Cross contribute­d eight points and nine rebounds.

Camyia Cody chipped in for Nevada with 14 points and eight boards.

Parkers Chapel returns to action on Saturday at Magnet Cove in the Battle at the Cove. The Lady Trojans take on Fountain Lake at 10 a.m.

PC Jr. Girls 29, Harmony Grove 22

HAMPTON - The Lady Trojans knocked off Harmony Grove Saturday in the Hampton Jr. High Tournament. The Lady Trojans improved to 3-2.

Madison Sullivan led Parkers Chapel with eight while Rebekah Hardy added six.
